Its a troll because the team wont be called Match Fit SHore. It is Match FIt Academy. EVen if a bunch of the players are from a MFS team they cant call it that. The club's entry in the league is Match Fit Academy.

Correction, the whole team will be MF Shore players. I wouldn’t get my hopes up if my DD was on the existing Pre-ECNL team unless some of the MF Shore players play up on the 2008 team. Pretty obvious they can only win when the MF Shore players are guesting with them.

Personally, I hope it is a **** show either way.

Got to make it look legit. All our pre-ecnl kids don't stand a chance to get on the team. Maybe, just maybe, RT will take one or two, just to make it look fair, but every single kid on his current roster will be on the team. And to prove my point, I have his current 09 roster. I'm going to wait till the fall when his new roster comes out and I'll post how many of his existing kids remain. And for the record, I'm a MF parent, whose kid plays on the pre-ecnl team. What the jerk did to our girls is not right.

That sounds great...except you didn’t mention that the deal was done over a year ago. There is no fair shot at a spot on that team. Never was.

These idiots broke the ECNL rules you fool.

ECNL is so pro business and so anti player it’s not even a joke. But they still went and broke the ECNL rules.

Most importantly they screwed themselves over in front of the entire community of soccer players by saying:
- we don’t develop
- our practices are crap
- we have zero loyalty to YOU

There is the biggest problem with youth soccer and youth sports in general now ...

Only focus is on winning...and at this age ??? All the first time parents will learn as they go....winning does not mean you are the better team at younger ages...scoring goals over the heads of the short goalies and high pressing with the biggest players..etc
