You did contradict yourself. The only reason these clubs went into the GA is because they were denied the ECNL. I'm sure you also have a great relationship with your kid's coach after you left for another team. That happens all the time. If you and your daughter are so happy why do you and others feel the need to come on here and try and bring down the GA? Simple question. You were so hurt by what your former club did when you say they weren't transparent in going into the GA but you know for a fact they applied and keep applying to the ECNL because you have retained a relationship with the former coach yet you come on here and bash his or her club where they coach. Amazing what kind of friend you must be.

I don't know what you think is so far fetched about what this guy is saying. STA alone lost like 4 or 5 Players to PDA Blue last year through a few age groups. SJEB and CSA Monmouth lost a few to PDA South. We are in tryout season so I would expect to see others jumping now for next year. It is what it is

You must not watch much soccer. No way GAL is on par/comparable with PDA White/Matchfit and even PDA South.

GAL are losing to EDP teams on the regular and some scores are significantly lopsided.

Most PDA White, MF and PDA South teams won't play EDP teams so that evaluation is a mute point.

Recently Real 06 beat CSA GA 7-1....that’s a complete beat down. Also Real 05 beat LI GA 3-1. And I could go on and on with EDP teams beating GA teams. On many ways GA is on par with EDP Div 1. They should have just merged and call it a day. Silly to have two secondary leagues to ECNL and now you have ECRL too which makes it 3 secondary leagues.

Your view is interesting. What makes you think EDP teams are ECNL level other than a few one offs?

ECNL is the top league for a reason/they have the best players generally speaking and the most stable platforms.

I was front row last summer to witness how poorly EDP teams stacked up against ECNL talent. It was unbalanced to say the least.

Yes "most" ECNL clubs/teams are strong than GAL and a few top EDP teams. There's definitely some ECNL teams that are terrible and can get beat by top teams in other leagues. But that's the thing with overlap - how much depth there is? Probably a few more GAL clubs can go against ECNL, but not as many EDP teams can. Same with team benches. EDP has some good player but the quality falls quickly off from the starters. Most ECNL teams will have far more depth

Do they all involve them beating LI and CSA? Seems they are usually the ones getting beat on inside and outside.

I don't think any of them are. Looking at the standings, nobody in ECNL is giving them much of a challenge, either.
