I've had three kids play over the last, god I'm old, 15ish years and they've had three female coaches in all that time. Two were great, one sucked. One of the great ones moved quickly into college soccer.

Would love to see a few women coaches at the GA level! So much one can learn from European white make perspective.

Sad reality is more parents/players of boys wouldn't walk a women coach; but are OK with either for a girls team. That alone cuts the options down for women looking to get into coaching.

Originally posted by Unregistered View Postlol USSF had their chances years ago. First they only created BDA, completely ignoring the girls side. That gave ECNL the opportunity to move in and get well established. Then, when the WNT filed their first lawsuit suddenly USSF came up with GDA - see we support the women! But, as we know, that was a failure out of the gate and USSF put almost no resources behind it. They assigned a few staffers and gave a piddling amount to clubs for scholarships. No free to play anywhere like BDA, clubs were encouraged to lower costs but it wasn't enforced in any manner and again no assistance to clubs to do so.

We've turned into a society of constant complaining where it's actually accepted by today's standards that if you do so you will have a better chance of actually getting your way. There's inequalities in life. Big deal. Get over it. Does anyone actually want unqualified people put in various jobs based on their skin color or gender whether it's on a soccer field or as a pilot flying people around. Yes, check out United Airline's new policy for new pilots. Where does it end? If this makes me a racist or misogynistic then I think it's time Merriam- Webster change these two words meanings in the dictionary.

That is the very definition of a racist.
