I think the OP meant ECRL. That's a tougher question. Especially around here.

While the above is generally true there are good and bad clubs in each, resulting in overlap. It's not all black and white. Don't pick a poor club with a better badge. A badge can't make up for poor coaching. Pick the strongest club in your area that has strong coaching and a team that is a good fit for your player (don't go somewhere they will be a bench warmer)

ECRL>GA. Want an example? Look at PDA Shore, they are a much better club than its GA neighbours CSA. Name recognition, check. Track record, check. Great coaches, check. The only thing CSA may have is facilities but that’s about it.

So people think ECRL is better then GA because clubs beat on CSA? How many shore teams could win vs STA, SJEB or any of the actual good clubs?

ECRL vs GA vs EDP/USYS would have a lot of over lap depending on the age group but generally would be:

Top 1/2 GA
USYS D1
Top 1/3rd ECRL
Top 1/2 USYS D2
Bottom 1/2 GA
Middle 3rd ECRL
Bottom 1/2 of USYS D2
Top 1/2 EDP D3
Bottom 1/3rd ECRL

How does a local town team beat up on a GA club like that? Should not happen. If it was 1-0 I get it as that can happen in soccer and teams get lucky. But 7-1???

Real is a unicorn and CSA is awful. That is how that happens.

Wall which is another township club would have similar results against CSA so not too surprised by what Real did. Both Real 06 and 05 teams are quality and would easily handle CSA GA, but that’s to be expected not a surprise.
