    This forum is a dump.

As a parent of two travel players who are not going to be professional soccer players but play because they love the sport. I have to say this forum which used to be an area to come and get some information to best help my kids and my family has become a dump. All you have is troll after troll wasting time and space on a tool that if used correctly could actually help children and families.
Only way to solve this is registered accounts. While not perfect all of the big mouths on both sides, of nothing else be out in the light for all to see. Sure you would have fake accounts but this is unbelievable
While this isn’t used as the Bible for my kids playing it could offer us parents a reference that could be worthwhile.
Why not have user register? Why not get this forum out of the gutter? You literally have ten people running this for what?

Completely agree to a point. The biggest issue isn't actually the trolls themselves, but their burying of actual information. As soon as someone posts something true (to them), a dozen posts and/or threads appear (usually from one person) to bury it. This has been going on to an extent for years, but has gotten an order of magnitude worse since this silly MF Shore branch was created. Their crew has tried to destroy any negative information about their coach and the branch.

Eventually, the trolls on the other side caught up to try and stamp them down and here we are. People can't just let a negative post go and/or have a real discussion. The MF Shore formula has been bury the post, belittle the parent and player, and ridicule their club with various techniques by the trolls to push back. It's terrible and makes this forum unusable many days.

So in your analysis MFS does absolutely nothing to warrant any of the posts they receive. It’s all the “trolls, coaches, parents” that just have zero reason to post anything negative about such a wonderful coach and club. This is exactly why this forum sucks because you are delusional and are the main reason why there are so many posts. Make sure you jump for the life boat when the ship starts to go down.

I agree with you as do the vast majority of readers. I just filter the comments of the juvenile vindictive parents who could care less about soccer or their daughters who play. They see club soccer as an extension of the own lives (people a day late and a dollar short) in which they live vicariously thru their daughter. They have “chips on their shoulders” that they bring to club soccer. Pretty pathetic. I have been around the sidelines long enough to spot those parents as well as those parents who understand that their daughters playing is their sport and it’s about them.

              Success Breeds Contempt

Analyze the last years posts on the forum pal. It’s all there same outline. You can even open another window on your desk top to check posts to past tournament dates. The hate for the club started the minute they left CSA during the 1st shutdown and hasn’t stopped. The truth will enlighten you, people hate success and if you are honest with yourself MFS module is highly successful.

“Success breeds contempt. ... The disdain that some develop for the successful is actually envy and a lack of self-control that the hater has. As we get closer to the goals we set for ourselves, our confidence grows, our belief grows, and we tend to separate ourselves from the flock.”

Wrong. Unfortunately he has burned bridges at plenty of other organizations, not just CSA. he is a bad person. It’s widely known in the soccer community. I have nothing to do with CSA and I can tell you for certain you are crazy to think that this all started when he left CSA. The funny thing is, I even know some of the names of the people from his team that post on here.

This forum is not representative of most soccer parents. Most are pretty normal don't even know about this cesspool. Some on this site clearly have agendas - either to prop up their own club, take down a competitor, or some parent or former coach scorned. There are occasional nuggets of useful info but readers should always verify it with actual living humans. Don't take any of it too seriously and it can be entertaining sometimes.

Ps All the MF threads and post are simply tiresome. Whoever is doing all that really is a loser.

This forum is a good example presenting club owners and coaches though ... just saying.

Not sure what that means but I have no interest reading opinions about clubs/team/coaches from anonymous parents.....just saying back at ya

If you look it's really only the girls side. No one can argue that on the boys side what league is the best and what clubs are. (DA change to MLnext was not that drastic) Clubs don't seem to have a problem filling rosters on the boys end.
The drama starts on the girls side previous years DA vs ECNL. Now we know who won that battle and teams in the ECNL are not having problem s filling rosters. This year's drama is now between GAL, ECRL and EDP clubs as to who is the 2nd best League and filling roster spots. These clubs will continue to lose their best players to the ECNL teams.
The clubs on the girls side are fighting for scraps and it is ugly.(we're better...no we're better... we'll be the next ECNL club). As a parent it makes those clubs look desperate to keep the lights on. Sad state of youth soccer at least in NJ.
