Has anyone seen a spring schedule for the Pre-GA U12 games in the Northeast. The fall included 6-8 games between NJ, NY, and CT teams but nothing is scheduled for Spring?

Anyone can call a league pre whatever but it's not a fully sanctioned part of GAL. Before that there was pre GDA and BDA, and some have pre ECNL. It's a marketing hook, that's all.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

the NEGDL was just to serve the function of having a decent league for GDA teams in the U12-13 groups. Before that, teams around here played NPL which tanked when EDP took the better teams and there was a lot of complaining. So the clubs who played DA said lets just run our own competition. Nobody cares what you call it - a schedule where GAL member clubs play each other at the U12 as additional league to EDP , NYCSL, etc is not bad for anyone. Similar to the pre-ECNL schedule where the U12 teams follow the older teams and play.
