Csa Bergen wins over Red Bull

Twice last week Bergen took the win for the u14 and Bergen 06 toppled Red Bull 06 3-nil.

This is the result when you pick players that their parents know someone to get you on the team. No skill and no soccer.

Firstly, do you even know if you played on age games with them? They frequently play their teams and individual players up. Secondly, was it just a bunch of scrimmages? That doesn't tell you much, especially in the preseason. Lastly, they pay zero and some of them may become professionals. Kids don't get and stay on these teams because they know someone. I guess you can say your son beat a RBNY academy team during a march scrimmage one day as a claim to fame.

I would go running. I was just commenting that the victory might be short lived. Every friendly RB or PDA blue has is a great recruiting opportunity. Its great for CSA and RB has nothing to lose until it starts becoming a trend. I have always been impressed with the training and coaching for RBs. T

So many kids go to RB academy too early, get chewed up and spit out at 14. Its a big step so player needs to be 100% ready.

Yeah, this is probably the best thing about the Red Bulls. If they think they have a strong team, they don't enter a league with the idea that they will win every game easily. Instead, they'll have the team play up so that the players are actually challenged and develop. And yes, they'll win some of those games too, but the winning isn't the focus.
