Does anyone know if they are planning to update their kit?
They were thinking about it. One idea was to copy MF Shore's new uniform with built in bibs, so RT doesn't spill his beer on them. Personally, I think that's a good look.

An honest answer, if your a parent who enjoys getting drunk with your loser coach, than MF Shore it is. If you want quality training, NJ Blaze is where to go.

I don't know anything about the dining thing, but I was told that NJ Blaze was forming a partnership with MF Shore. With NJX out of the picture, it kind of makes sense. Is there any truth to this?

Do they have green juice boxes at the snack stand?

They have like two teams. Not much of a merger LOL.

Yes, apple flavored ones. But to be honest, the coolers on the sidelines at MF Shore games are filled with all sorts of nifty import beers.

I was considering CSA, but they don't have any control over their fields and apparently forced their players to train indoors this winter during the pandemic so I'm now looking elsewhere

Ask RT’s inner circle (same dads that are on here posting constantly), RT tells them everything. He tells them inside club info, he will talk about you, he will talk about your kid, if your kid is under performing you bet he’s going to have his dads go out and try to find a replacement. So yeah, they know.

And you’ve just exposed yourself as a fraud. RT only drinks White Claws, so your claim that he’s constantly spilling beer is a lie.

Btw, for those of you who don’t know, White Claws get you just as ****ed up as beer, but with far less calories, and a much better taste. Highly recommend.

I did hear that parents were threatened at MF Shore that if they attended a CSA ID clinic they would automatically be kicked off the team...so just know how that place is operating and if you’d like to be controlled by a coach regarding your child maybe MF is the place for you.

I can confirm this as true. MF Shore just happened to add a "last minute practice" on the same day as the CSA id clinics which we were told was mandatory.

I have older kids but know a parent on the team he said that to. Boggles my mind that they accepted being spoken to that way. But from what I hear and read about this coach it shouldn’t come as a surprise to any parents. The parents attitude was more or less, that’s just who he is. I don’t get it.

Depends on age and skill level but there are some good town clubs in Monmouth Co:

Peninsula (draws mostly from Eastern Monmouth and beach towns). No real home facilities, use to play games at Dorbrook Park in Colts Neck. Teams mostly in MOSA and a few in EDP

Holmdel, Marlborough, Middletown, and Freehold all generally have good town teams, upper tier MOSA and some EDP. NJX (was higher level part of Holmdel) would be a good option, it was just bought by PSA however.

Monmouth United is a good club, it's where my kids started. Based in Lincroft. They don't play in MOSA, play in a Central Jersey league, a few EDP teams.

There are a few smaller/newer clubs popping up, I've heard mention of Liverpool FC which plays our of St. John Vianney in Holmdel, another club called Dutchmen FC out of Red Bank.

I am sure I'm missing a few. Of course the $$$$ academy teams PSA, CSA, MFA. Hope this helps.
