Correct they constantly steal the best players from CSA, STA etc. even PDA shore has a major inflow from Monmouth Co. our HS coach only recommended PDA Shore as a legitimate option in the area. Other than that he said to stay away from the others no matter the sales pitch. Just look at track record.

[QUOTE=Unregistered;2942171]Is it true that the 09 Blue team brought in 6 new girls this winter break? How is that fair to the girls who already made the team? Any Thoughts on a 20 girl U12 roster ?[/QUOTE

      Which PDA, Somerset?

If Nick could develop he wouldn’t be bringing in kids all winter for practices that are supposed to be locked up on other teams. Facts that most of the parents refuse to accept.

There is only one PDA . All others are a cheap imitation.

Pda doesn’t care if you get better as an individual player. All they care about is winning. So while they get many talented young players most if not all of the coaches play a style that helps them win but not develop the actual player.
All young Pda players are eventually replaced by players the were developed correctly.

                It’s a team game.

All you’re saying is the players have to continue developing individually, on their own.

Dead wrong. Many kids start and end with PDA. All? Of course not.

Kids mature at different rates and some simply have athletic limitations. People seem to forget this. Athletic promise is no guarantee of future success. Horses come up lame, you move on. Thats life.

A highly competitive club will always look to fill specific needs with improved talent. Please do send me that list of clubs that don’t care about winning.

Lastly it’s ironic that so many successful players outside of PDA train with PDA coaches. This forums beloved MatchFit Shore 09’s train with MS all of the time. Probably because he’s from PDA and he can’t develop players. Please.

There are clubs that focus on developing first and winning second. Buyer beware!

Pick a club where their u12 and under are not nearly as good as there u13 and up. Generally means they stress the proper development over winning when it most counts.

I bet if you look at any PDA team White or Blue within the 06-03, I bet you would have a large % of players on each roster that are not PDA lifers. There is a level of technical expectation at a certain age post puberty, then it becomes all about tactical, mental and physical. A lot of kids can’t handle it or simply don’t hit the mark. I know it’s horrible and many kids hit a cross roads but it’s fact. It happens over time, it’s not sudden, so for someone to be shocked, its pure ignorance.
