So if they are partnering with The Fort athletic club, that project stalled out almost two years ago, issues with the pool, funding etc. its not on the eatontown side though it’s Oceanport. it’s approved as an athletic club, think Atlantic Club in Manasquan. There is one soccer field approved. I highly doubt FMERA or eatontown approved another gym facility to be in the Fort. But many towns have been trying to get fields approved for their own towns use and FMERA has yet to approve. Depending on how he is selling this, it’s certainly not a soccer complex. It’s a field. If they change their plan they have to seek approval from FMERA and the town and that’s not usually easy.
