If your kid is P5 material, then I would expect her coach to be doing everything he can to help her get a verbal commitment there. If say Penn State has been in touch to express interest, he would be excited to tell her the details and work with her to build on that interest. If he’s not being specific, she should ask him for specifics. If he won’t give them to her, he’s lying.

That’s the worry, general comments like Florida State, Stanford etc have been in touch to express interest but no other more mid tier really worry me that it’s just BS.

No we actually just had 2 go from the latest Class to low-mid tier D1. Is that a concern and do you think anyone would make stuff up to keep the players interested? That what I worry about...

Do you think your daughter is significantly better than everyone else on the team to the extent that she would get P5 interest? Has anyone else on the team received similar feedback from the coach?
