Despite the winter storm they still had those kids play in 7v7. Not one care for liability

Cmon, if you want to hear of something worse than than my daughter’s academy (shall remain nameless since they already have enough issues) played a freaking meaningless friendly yesterday. It was snowing during the match....pretty ridiculous. But that’s the model we’re in today no care for the kids or the families. I know you’ll tell me the kids need to toughen up etc but c’mon have some common sense.

I absolutely ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you. These academy teams, tournaments (I’ll keep EDP as the top culprit) do not care for these kids. Everything is just a “well we got that done,” instead of taking the time to say “does this make sense.” It’s not about toughness, you’re not tough if you play in crazy weather conditions...you’re just stupid and careless.

I hope coaches and organizations tournaments whatever take a stance on being better. It’s all CRZY 🤬

Yeah parents have to understand they have the right and they own these academies or clubs. Without their money and satisfaction these org’s can’t be run. Gotta care for the kids first.

Honestly these leagues/clubs should not be putting parents in a position to make a decision on if they bring their child to train/practice.

the bottom line is nobody who played or trained yesterday got better, and for that reason alone clubs and leagues should have cancelled!!!

BOOHOO your child had to play in the snow and now your crying about it. DUDE get a grip and stop being so soft. Other countries play in snow, rain, mud, dirt with rocks and do not complain. Your a privileged jackass. No wonder we are so being in soccer.

Don’t have her play then. You parents are all the same, if they cancel you bitch and moan that they aren’t on the field. Yet when they play you bitch about the weather. Go play an indoor sport if you want to cry so much.

I agree with you, but how does playing in below freezing temperature where it's asked by US Soccer to not allow show mental toughness? What did got better yesterday playing in those conditions?

The ol mighty dollar is what they care about, kids health, safety and sanity a far second. Pretty pathetic. Gimmie a break, a freaking friendly in snow and wind??? Would love to see these tough coaches in shorts and short sleeves standing out there. Talk about toughness.

What a dope. Comparing us to other countries. Let me guess we shouldn’t let women vote because in other countries they don’t.
