Teams hiding at Jeff Cup

What's going on with the CSA girls side? They usually have teams in each age group going to Jeff Cup and it looks to me as if they only have one team going and that is the 07 girls.

There are no girls teams going to Jeff Cup. Not sure why the 07 team is listed, but none are going

The first all-in type tournament for CSA locations is the EDP Spring Classic.

I think two things happened to get BOCA 09s in top bracket.

1st and most obvious is the parents and coach requesting top bracket. Not a good idea. It's going to be a murder on any field they play on.

2nd, Richmond Strikers are also in that bracket. Since they host the tournament, they put the easier teams on that side. At least half, if not all of the second group are better teams than BOCA 09s.

It is a long trip home from Richmond if you play in the wrong bracket

regardless if you agree about traveling out of state right now for a tournament, jeff cup just released boys and girls weekend brackets. There are not only a bunch of nj teams going, but there are a bunch of teams going to basically say they did it. For example, the psa 09 girls are in the 9th bracket. There are a bunch of other teams doing the same (come on nj premier). Why even bother going down to play teams the same or worse in quality than what you can play in nj. Why go gotsoccer point and trophy hunting right now. I'm just disgusted. If you're going to jeff cup, at least get into a competitive flight and make it mean something.

The 09 Jeff cup only means something to the families and players. Sorry. You are way over reacting. This is young girls playing soccer period.

BOCA 09s don't stand a chance in the top flight, don't know why put them there. Good chance don't even score a goal

I think the Michigan team will probably win the top group. Pipeline is over-rated an Michigan teams usually are under rated across all age groups.

Now MF Shore has zero competition in the Juniors bracket. They may win every game 10-0.

That was RT's plan all along. Win another Jeff Cup trophy and brag about it, but mysteriously forget to point out that they teams they played were glorified township teams. Got to give him credit, another Jeff Cup win on his resume will bring more kids in. Its just a shame he leaves out important facts when selling it.
