Everything is pretty much here from the USL Academy:

FC Copa:

I think they are trying to get players in a professional environment at a younger age.
It follows Pulisic, McKennie, Reyna, and Adams as those players played in pro environments early. The biggest draw is a direct club link to a professional opportunity in USL 2. It looks like players can also choose a particpation level that keeps a High School option open. Interesting to see if the USL pathway will draw new and keep current top players. The USL Academy League setup and first year will be interesting to follow. That internal pro pathway is a clear difference between Copa and other clubs.
We'll see how FC Copa supports the new Millstone and Brooklyn locations and if the club player level can improve, particularly on the boys side. If Copa can get an soccer specific indoor facility bulit in Metuchen or Millstone to support winter training and their Futsal programs, that would take them next level.
NJ Clubs that will participate USL Academy:
FC Copa
Cedar Stars Academy Bergen
Morris Elite
Ironbound SC (co-op with NYRB)

FC Copa (not Coppa) has a long history of excelling on the girls and ladies side.
Not a super-elite top-tier girls brand, but they can confidently stand on their U14-U17 G history.
Not to mention literally operating your own ladies pro-am team:

They are a good club. At the HS ages, their teams are on par with the PDA north 3rd them and the MFA 2nd team. Younger ages the top team is on par with the MFA 1st team and the PDA 2nd team on average. As the teams get older PDA and MFA consolidate their power so to speak. This is only one person's opinion of course.

You may be right about them not being on par with PDA North team but they are definitely better than Match Fit Shore, PDA Shore, CSA Monmouth, PSA etc.
Their Millstone branch is growing as well so definitely worth checking out.
