I don't care how you try to justify this disgusting behavior! Matchfit is trash period! I suppose if it helps you losers feel like winners then continue with this disgusting behavior. Instead of cheering you on we're all disgusted! And yes my kids are on top teams who played lesser teams. Not once have I seen this display of trash by the coaches , parents, or kids. Justify all you want. Matchfit is TRASH!

We are talking about 11 and 12 yr old girls people! They're kids! Why crap all over them for playing hard and doing what they're supposed to? Coaches and parents are free game but people should leave the kids out of it.

We are moving to NJ and are currently lookingbforna top notch team for my 11 year old daughter. She was voted golden boot 17 times at her old academy and has been playing on a 06 boys team. Can someone provide me with a contact info for this team??

I totally agree with you! I'm not a parent affiliated with this team, but after reading much about them and their awesome coach and seeing videos of them play, my wife and I decided to put our business up for sale here in Canada and move to NJ just so my 11 year old daughter can get on this team. The core girls on this team are excellent and probably could play pro right now if they wanted to. The coach has done amazing things for girls soccer. We have heard of him here in Canada, and he actually has a very strong following. We have all heard of his success in girls soccer. Anyone who bashes this team or their coach are probably not that good and jealous of them. We can't wait to move to NJ and be apart of history in the making!

I don't even have a girl in this age group but know others that do including one member of this team. Yes, the girls all train privately when they can. Yes, they are very talented and there is absolutely nothing wrong with what they are doing on and off the field.

To be clear, I don't have anything to do with this age group but watching this thread has been interesting to follow. We actually talk about it and laugh at what is true and what is not. The family I know has no interest in leaving despite the drama, mainly because she has steadily improved and likes the coach.

The coach is making his way up MF latter quickly just because of this one team...

The coach is one of those guys that needs his ego constantly stroked by whoever is willing. Also winning tournaments and gaining rank gets the ego going as well.
The players love the coach.

More than half of the parents on this team are 100% certifiable crazy nuts.

Many of these parents are convinced their girls will be on US Womens' Roster at some point, but in reality, two have a good chance on being invited to ID Camps. One of those two needs to grow.

Two fathers on the team are absolutely horrible. I have heard there is a side bet going of when one of them will get in a fight with either an opposing coach, parent, or ref. Based on some of the responses, I'm guessing one is a poster on this thread.

At least four different people have access to the Instagram account including the coach.

Can't speak on the '08 ECNL debacle as all I know they were told they may be asked to play at some point but then games were cancelled. Like I said, the coach wants 2008 ECNL badly. Coach feels like they are ready for next step a year up and have nothing left on the EDP 2008 Division.

I'm very good friends with a father from this team and he has confirmed that 4 of the girls will be leaving next year to go with Mick Smith at PDA. This is a fact that's not open to debate, and I will not say who the father is, but the four girls he mentioned leaving will definitely be a major blow to the team. No one other than the 4 know about it, so if any of the MF Shore parents are on here, don't waste your time saying it's not true, they are just not telling anyone their plans yet. On a side note, only two parents control the Instagram account, and I'm really not sure why you would bring that up, no one has ever asked for it. As for the coach "making his way up the MF ladder", hes a lying sneak that will backstab anyone to get what he wants. He is the reason why the 4 girls are leaving. From what I was told he never played professional soccer in any way, shape or form, and he is the reason why all the girls on the team seek outside training. My friend told me he humors the coach because his daughter plays most of the game and the kids keeps winning, so he puts up with it. He said next year he wants to get serious with his daughters future and there is none with the coach or MF. Notice, not once did I knock the girls or the team, I'm not jealous of them, just stating facts to hopefully get people to stop ****ting on the team and take it for what it is. So some of our info matches. Instagram isn’t a big deal, I have just seen it mentioned quit a few times by posters, lol. I will disagree about ECNL. Parents were already told that players will be playing in the Spring (if there is one) as needed. I didn’t want to bring up PDA, but I was told two players are leaving. That said, looks like at least two players are leaving. I’m not giving any hints as to what players though. PDA will be the best team in the US once again for this year of players.

I do wish somebody else would challenge PDA, but prefer it to be a stand up Club.

Been there done that. lets see what they look like at 14/15 or even older. Im positive they wont be together then. I am not in NJ. . but i saw both teams play in a tournament in CT. the 09s were incredible. . most talented team that age i have ever seen. If there are 08s on that team you couldn't tell they were tiny incredibly talented girls combined to our 08 team from MA (which is undersized to begin with). The 08s who we also played were bigger just not nearly as good
