Everyone knows there is only one kid on the 09 ecnl worth anything. GH has been carrying that team for far to long. Its a team riding this girls coattails. And DB knows this. Thats why he gave this kids father, who never played soccer passed middle school, a paid coaching job. Both the kid and her younger sister don't pay tuition at MF, and they get rooms comped at away tournaments, paid for by all the other parents. Even the mother brags to people that her daughter is the only kid worth anything on the team. If this kid left, the 09 team will be just another rec team. In a way i feel bad for her. Who wants their kid to be surrounded by a bunch of losers?

well it’s probably good for her if she stands out that much on the team for college scouts to notice her. And it’s all for free. They have it good!!

From what I was told, RT and DB pull kids off when they make mistakes. Probably doesn’t apply to GH I’m sure they keep her on even if she’s having an off day. But that also takes away from development. It’s ok to make mistakes. That’s how you grow as a player.

I have a daughter in the same age group and I always feel bad for her running around trying to make plays when she would be better off playing in a system where she can play a specific role without feeling the burden of scoring or having to cover up other players mistakes.
