The player who was "out of control" is fine. The coach who is also "out of control" hopefully is starting to sweat. I'm guessing RT will likely be suspended for a couple of weeks and then back to the norm. It should be noted that his fan boy coach is just as bad however.

This could put MFA in a real tough spot since the 2009s are not based in Denville. I don't know who could take over.

So, the 1st phase in Karma was being dominated by your rival. The 2nd phase will be somewhat bitter sweet to the girls now on 2009 MFA RL team, where if USYS/ECNL decides to discipline the RT and MFA don't have a coach in place.

Anyone remember that coach who was caught giving his 8 year olds soccer team 5-hour energy before games? Was all on video, lol.

This is a wake up call for parents, coaches and clubs. Do not get so consumed by the game and winning that you are teaching young girls to resort to physical violence, do not condone that type of play, do not encourage that type of play, and certainly do not allow your kid to be coached by someone that has no issue instructing a player to hurt another player. This is unfortunate and a young girls name is out there, this coach should be very ashamed and embarrassed.

Considering this is on several social media pages, who knows how many hundreds of people have seen it, it has taken MFA far to long to respond or make a statement.

It’s not just the 2009’s that are at risk but he also coaches the 11’s and 10’s. What parent would want their kid to play against a guy that coaches like that? This is very problematic.

Solution MatchFit. Find a replacement to coach this team. The train is off the tracks.

Tetro is a piece of ****. I hope one of the parents put him in his place. Let that jerkoff tell his players to intentionally hurt my kid and see how I handle it.

Good question and really the only thing that matters. IMO -it seems that everyone is very excited about what happened from both sides. MFS parents that don’t care for the coach or were hurt by him are pleased, former coaches or players of MFS are happy and PDA is basking in the glory that they look like hero’s. The truth is- both teams look bad and should be in question. The fighting between these parents on and coaches is out of hand. The kids are smart, they know exactly what’s going on and now they will be the ones hurt. Both teams IMO should be looked at more closely and brought to the attention of US Soccer and ECNL. There are always two sides every story- typically the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Are always first in line when the Ewing’s Sports trailer comes in? I bet you buy whole tables at the annual PDA banquet and buy the most tickets for fundraisers or have your kid show up early and do extra juggles for the gym sessions at the Zarephath church during winter sessions?

Admiration for rankings and NH? Please. PDA needs to worry about growing access to the lowest barrier to entry game known to man by giving access to the platform for talented kids throughout NJ not just Suzies living in and around Sommerset and Hunterdon counties whose parents can cut large checks so their kids can play alongside talented kids coming from and wide to play for a college coach that signs 95% of his recruit class from the local “non profit” entity that collects all the checks based out of Bernardsville.

Also just because a kid gets into a high caliber school doesn’t mean that they are going there because of their soccer talents.

Anyways, congrats to these kids for a well deserved win and to the kids that came in second. Winning and losing are part of the lessons of sports and life.
I always found it weird to see adults in PDA gear head to toe. Especially the visor. As a PDA parent I prefer to wear Gucci or Prada but that’s just me.

Hope the players are ok. You have two unethical individuals NH and RT with gloves off in low level ECNL battle. What do TS parents expect wood happen? Cobra Kai in now NJ.

My kid is an older player at FC Stars—I don’t have any dog in the fight when it comes to PDA and Matchfit. The audio that is making the rounds makes it pretty clear that the MF coach is encouraging his players to injure players on the other team. If there were similar comments on tape from the PDA coach, I’m sure it would also be out there. The PDA coach seems to be warning the MF coach that coaching this way is going to get him in trouble.

My kid has played for Stars in ECNL for several years. I can honestly say I have NEVER heard one of her coaches or an opposing coach shout something like this to their players during a game. MF and ECNL should step in here. There’s no place for this in ECNL, or any league for that matter.

We are super unlucky here in NJ. Unfortunately both coaches are unethical and have been for years. I do believe NH got super lucky he wasn’t recorded. I am glad to hear your club is normal- I’m really jealous. If only your club wasn’t so far! Perhaps the requirements for coaching are above board. We don’t do background checks, require any specific license. It’s kind of a free for all. Oh and there are so few women coaches at these clubs because it’s too toxic for them. So we are pretty much f’ed.

I don’t think that any club is perfect. My kid is happy at Stars, but it’s not without drama (like anywhere else). I’ve certainly heard coaches speak negatively to players and have heard about some comments made to kids that I think are not productive (“keep playing like that and I will cut you by Monday”). BUT, the audio of the MF coach goes well beyond what is acceptable. If this guy continues coaching after being heard (on tape) encouraging his 12 year old players to injure an opponent, it will be a very bad look for Matchfit and, potentially, ECNL.

This should be very simple for MF and ECNL- ZERO TOLERANCE.

It's funny how the MF Shore parents are blaming this on the PDA kids. The bottom line is, Tetro got caught, on tape and video, encouraging his players to intentionally hurt kids. There should be no debate on this. Regardless of what people are saying about NH, truth is there is nothing other than thier word that this happened. Funny thing is, yesterday the MF Shore parents were bragging that this stuff about Tetro wasn't true and was made up. They even posted "show is the video. No video means it didn't happen", then when the audio surfaced they changed their tune to "NH said the same thing". Not sure about anyone else, but I did forward a link to the video to the ECNL, USYS, and even to Malcolm Murphy from Matchfit. I encourage everyone that this upset to send Malcolm a email with your concerns. Hopefully this clown will lose his job over it. I for one hate this guy and pray this destroys what little reputation he has. I'm even reaching out to a buddy of mine from Soccerwire to see if they find it interesting. **** you Tetro, you loser. I hope you get what you deserve you piece of ****. For those who want it, heres the email addresses to the 2 top people at MF.

Interesting this highly edited clip is posted on the Instagram account of a former Match Fit coach, who was fired. No agenda at all, I’m sure.

Let’s see the unedited video clip and let us judge without editorializing it.
