I did take the time out of my day (5 minutes,
max) to post this because I am not sold that RT is the evil mastermind he is made out to be here.

I have a hard time believing that a part-time coach, who is a lawyer / college professor by day is the raging alcoholic / Megalomaniac he is made out to be here.

Funny how you say “if” 10% of what’s said about him here is true, it’s “good enough” for you.

So, you don’t actually know for a fact any of it is true?

You do realize that a good portion of this messageboard is comprised of people just trolling, right? Hell, I myself like to indulge sometimes.

I find it kind of funny that you take it all as gospel, and legitimately think it’s all real.

Instead of Google for research go out into some of the different soccer circles and say his name. I guarantee that you will hear stories very similar to what is posted on here. Those are facts.

The person I'm replying to has the facts right. This person is spot on and anyone who isn't in the bag for him already or who hasn't bought his latest line of bs knows it. A google search of someone isn't going to bring up anything like you would find on a site like TS unless the guy went to jail, got caught diddling his students, or won the 1,000,000 customer prize at shop rite. Pointing to that as "proof" someone is a decent person is like saying the next Charles Manson is a "great guy" because he hasn't appeared on a wanted poster yet.

The truth is this guy has been able to hoodwink parents who know zero about soccer and/or who don't care their kid is put into an unhealthy environment at a young age by putting wins and meaningless trophies under their noses and pointing to those as his soccer resume. Unfortunately for him, it will eventually catch up to him. You can only burn so many people at so many different organizations at so many age groups before your reputation is out of your control. This is exactly the reason he focuses on the recruitment of u12 and younger and why his older teams are bad. New soccer parents are fresh meat for him to bedazzle.

I understand what you're saying, and you're correct in a way. The stores about him drinking are way over exaggerated. He likes to have a drink with parents occasionally. I've never seen him fall down drunk nor been over the top with it. The people posting anything different are trolls.

Most of everything else being posted about the guy over the years is true. None of that stuff is salacious, but definitely speaks to his (poor) character. I've posted my direct experiences here honestly once or twice in the past and my comments still stand. It's up to parents to make their own call about the guy, but I'm here letting them know what to expect.

I agree with all of this. Parents have to learn for themselves and all you can do is educate them on setting their expectations. His character speaks for itself and when you get past all the flashy salesman tactics he uses to draw people in, many realize there aren’t many redeeming qualities.

MF Shore doesn't need to call and complain to anyone. We have a record number of kids signed up for our tryouts. You all are just jealous because your fat, lazy, piece of **** could never make one of our teams. Your little ****tard of a kid only wished they had a ounce of talent that our amazing girls possess. Go **** yourselves with your lies. Everyone knows the truth. MF Shore is the top destination club in NJ, possibly the east coast. Not too sure all of the parents are happy there. Some bumped to the B team, unceremoniously, in the middle of the year. Bringing in a few mediocre kids to round out the B team roster (who aren't paying full cost). I know I'd probably be looking elsewhere.

Please where can I sign up for some of that awesome developing and losing . I know my kid will be much happier because her new coach is cool with losing and has resigned himself to coaching to just collect a paycheck and compete in local tournaments ( you know who you are and where you coach) Sign us up .
