From the outside looking in, certainly agree. On the other hand, they've gone up and down this forum promoting themselves, putting down everyone else, and trying to bury anything remotely negative. They should have done what most of us do, just let our kid's have fun and let everyone else talk. Instead, they've acted like complete children. I don't feel bad for them, nor am I angry at the people replying. When you go around saying "MF Shore is the best and everyone else is a loser", then you invite prior who disagree. The reality is he was well trained by yours truly CSA....when there this guy was touted as the best coach ever.....heard this story before with so many of their trainers or DOCs, when they are there they are “the best” when they leave or the club pushes them out they are “the worst”. So don’t blame RT in any way he’s just doing what the rest of his neighbours and even old employers are doing, that’s the name of the game in youth football. So many at CSA kept telling us how great he was. Why? Business people.Comment

It's people protecting their own. If you were to talk to those same people privately (and were friendly enough with them), they would tell you the truth. The truth for this individual is easy to gather just looking at facts and not people's emotional responses. You don't lose an entire team because you were the best. There is a lot of that going around but if you know the landscape you know CSA has had a lot of departures, coaches, DOCs you name it leave over the last 1-2 years. There is alot of posts about how good of a coach this guy is. Alot of talk about how good is 09's and 11 teams are. Now it comes out that this guy also has two older teams, but yet you never hear about them at all. It's like they don't exist. At first I thought this was a joke about the 03 and 07 teams untill I looked it up. Can anyone offer a valid reason why these two teams are so bad if this guy is such a great coach?Comment

I can tell you exactly why... unlike his younger teams, he can't go out and "recruit" top kids because he has 0 to offer them. With the younger kids he promises the parents the glory of being on a #1 team with the promise of the ECNL badge. Parents buy into it, but then realize their kids will need to do a ton of outside training because they won't get it from him. Thats why his older teams are so bad. Hes not training them. Its that simple. Same for his younger groups, he just recruits better skilled kids. I was one of the stupid parents that followed him over when he left CSA with my d. He treats our girls like crap, while constantly bragging about his 09 team. We have started to look elsewhere because my d hates being on his team. Yea, something to be proud of. My kids on the 07 team and she constantly complains about how this coach talks down to the girls, their practices consist of scrimmages and nothing else, and hes constantly bragging about how awesome his 09 team is. For him, being 17th in the state is not something to be proud of. Thays ome of the reasons why you never hear about the team at all. My friend went to some I'd clinic he had and never once was his older teams mentioned. This guy is such a joke and I'm glad someone pointed out that he has two teams that aren't doing great. I'm friends with RT and although we are not close, I can confirm that he has said he really doesn't care about these older teams. He feels they aren't motivated and he doesn't have time to waste on kids who don't go the extra mile with outside training. Hes said to me several times these kids aren't talented and Hope's they leave come the fall.Comment

I guess my point is 17 in the state isn’t a top team in the state or country. But that’s also a far cry from “not doing well” or “terrible”. The CSA GA team is #15.
