From the advice of someone that has a daughter that currently plays D1. Find yourself a good trainer until 14-15. That may mean moving teams a few times to get the right fit but make sure the trainer is pushing your kid. Then at 14-15 you will need to end up on PDA blue. That’s the best path. Don’t waste your money on all this bs. It wasn’t as bad when my kid was that age but it’s gotten absurd and diluted. Stay away from MF specifically DB. He was hated back then and sounds like he is still hated now.

If it were that easy, there are what, 5 or 6 offensive spots on that one team? Not great odds to get that spot (s). There will likely be a bias to the current regime of kids so your kid would need to be head and shoulders above the existing. Not the best advice for the majority

There are so many pathways for kids that want it and every pathway isn't pda. It's ludicrous to think so, not every kid wants d1, many kids may want a balance of a good education, a balanced social life and soccer which might mean d3. Nothing wrong with that. Very short sighted my friend

All I am saying is IF your kid wants D1, PDA in my experience was far better than MF. That was a few years ago. My experience with DB was very poor. D1 is tough. Takes physical and mental toughness. She’s also an excellent student.

AND save your money. This travel is so unnecessary at the younger ages. The cost of it all when they are older still has be stunned.

So funny they all ran from their past clubs to come to RT. Now they aren’t getting their way, and they say RT is the worst.

Sounds like everything is great, until you don’t get your way. They better get used to it. There will be a lot more disappointments in the future.
