Unless CSA has a lot of waivers for boys who identify that list is for at least 2 teams boys and girls.

I would say most if not all players will go to college. The question is how many will get financial aide based on playing and how far up the chain will they play? Top D1 P5 school, bottom D1 P5 school, D1 school, top D2 school, D3...etc.....

The biggest farce in all of this is that, aside from those either at the club or friends of the player or family, you don't know the circumstances as to why that player choose that school. Was that the best they could get recruited for? Grades/SATs not good enough for a top program school? To far away? Major not offered? Better financial aide package at another school? There are so many factors about a college choice looking at these lists doesn't tell a clubs entire story.

You're making the assumption that this is a list of kids that are going to college on soccer scholarships (it's not) instead of just a list of where their kids are going to college. I think it's the later.

All that matters is if they play and have careers. Lots of clubs have lists of placements but do they actually help them find the right programs where they have careers?

Any monies received for playing (or not) are purely between the family and the school and are dependent on a whole host of factors. No one should be doing this expecting some kind of substantial ROI. You're very likely to be disappointed.

40 percent of female soccer players who make the college roster As a Freshman are not on the roster by their Senior year. Either because of injuries, getting cut or they lose interest or have trouble handling the work load.

Bingo. That's why a good college fit is the most critical piece. The odds of a 4 year career are not good. Plus if the kid is miserable at the school it can cause all kinds of problems and transferring is a hassle. An education lasts a lifetime.

What's the end game of playing soccer in college when you are a senior? Getting an injury at the beginning of a senior year is a blessing in disguise - focus on hard classes while taking off 50 hours or weekly work off the schedule with no cost (in case there is a scholarship - its already applied).
