Well NJ state champs went 1-2 and didn't make the consolation game, yes close games on tiny long grass fields, nobody was putting up 6 or more so they got BEAT UP

so many variables, our team (at a different event), were not at our strongest and crazy results happened everywhere. It’s soccer. People on here are so dramatic, you are crazy! I mean the positive is, at lleast your kid thinks they won the champions league after a 2-1 or 1-0 win!

Lets be clear, I'm not an FA hater at all, but success is measured in different ways for different purposes.
I was simply noting that FA lost, they have a strong history of winning. Its a rare opportunity to see how
the different leagues match up, simple as that. The FA boys played well, are well coached and very
athletic, so was the competition. I never wished them to lose, that is you projecting.
Please keep your opinion of my ride home with my kid to yourself, you have no idea how I parent.

FA hangs around the best of the rest like CSA Bergen, Delco and whatever ENCL team that’s supposed to be good. The best ECNL NJ team is what, STA? That’s about TSF or lower so just fine and in the middle like everybody. FA has one or two higher level players and they would leave in a heartbeat to join a real MLS club. No knock but State and Nationals is another tournament for the best of the rest. The actual best players and teams aren’t there. What I’m getting at is what’s even the point of trying to bring down a club like FA?

So what’s happening with IB and CSA? They are both getting ran over, they are definitely in the wrong league. PDA seems to be doing better than last season, shockingly RFC is putting up some respectable matches considering they had a massive EXODUS. Any insight on why the poor start by the NJ clubs.

Red Bulls pulled a few kids from IB, which is normal and happens. CSA is the Monmouth team which is kinda in rebuild mode for a while. Bergen is the real CSA team.
