Only 24 teams in the NJ state cup this year. Not much firepower in there. Why aren’t the MLS or ECNL teams allowed to play? That eliminates Red Bull, CSA Bergen, CSA Monmouth, TSF, PDA, Ironbound, Real, STA and Match Fit before the tournament even begins.

I read back a couple pages and no one was saying anything about Real being good or anything. Till some idiot posted Real thinks they are good out of nowhere. Well first I would think every mls next teams thinks they are good or they would not be playing at that level.

Historically CSA Monmouth MLS Next teams are amongst the weaker in MLSN. The expectation is that with the new facilities completed and the shifting of some of coaches from Bergen to Monmouth, that will change over the next few years.... My son doesn't play there, but we have friends there and it seems to be improving.

The 10s are very good, the 11s have a couple of solid players but not enough talent to carry the team. Even some of those starters are questionable.

Philly Union social media posted that they beat the 2010 Cedar stars Monmouth team 7-0 last week. The Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth team last year in MLS Next was either in 12th or 13th place out of 13 teams. Are you sure the 10s are very good? You might be confusing them with the Bergen 2010 team that is very good.
