Only bringing this up because it's public on social media platforms. Said "best kid" at Red Bulls - family seems fairly anti the US academy system after his tenure. IMO - the best Bloomfield kid did not go to Redbulls - I don't know if he had the choice between the 2.

The other Bloomfield kids (coaches son) and others were not even close to being better than the 1 kid that made it out from there.
if they were good enough, believe the fact they would have went over to RBs.

What made the one who went to red bull better? I remember playing Bloomfield and all he did was dribble, lose the ball, and then yell at players....wait that does sound like red bull player...you are right....the other one played simply and did a good job...unlike red bull

This may surprise you but not everyone wants to go to red bulls...there is nycfc and Philly Union too

Trying to reason with FA parents is an impossible task. They feel a sense of entitlement on being allowed into MLSN and Don Garber himself can rattle off every rule and requirement that they don’t meet and they will feel that they should still be the exception.

Besides if the 2011 coach were to move back to UK tomorrow the whole club at these successful age groups falls apart. Why should the mlsn take this risk?

I have heard about the FA parents mentioned here a bit. What makes them so bad? Can anyone explain? The one game my kid played against them...they were very quiet. And they won
