you don’t need to be a part of the club to know this information they cover it in their tryout webinar that is open to the public.
they have more fields and coaching depth than the majority of the non mls teams playing in MLS next. Some people are so bitter and sad that they need to tell lies. Just do your research and attend their open webinars and you will get the answers.

We are not in the 2011 age group, but we do play for the club. They have access to both pingry schools, which is like 7 or 8 fields, the indoor facility and Kantor park, so that is over 10 fields they have. That is more fields than the majority clubs in the state. Depth of teams, the club are arguable the best club in the state until everyone splits off at u13 in both boys and girls. ECNL boys is a glorified USYS and lives off the girls brand, it’s just another mediocre league, mix it with usys and see the who tops the table, it won’t be PDA and STA in the Mid Atlantic flights.

I agree with you that the FA teams they have across all of Zone 1 are good and would be a great pipeline to funnel into MLS next if they were to accept just the 2010 and 2011 FA teams. I will disagree with ECNL being a glorified USYS living off the girls brand. At 2011 USYS Mid Atlantic is terrible. At 2010 there are several very good teams, better than ECNL even. After FA at 2011 in the USYS Mid Atlantic there is maybe 1 team total that could hang on in the ECNL division. The rest of those teams would get destroyed every single week. There is no USYS Mid Atlantic fall season for u15 and older because of the HS seasons.
As far as depth of coaching at FA, I cant speak. Do they have multiple coaches with the correct liscense required to coach. I dont know how to find out that information. Again, its not the sheer number of coaches. they have to have the right credentials whether they are great coaches or not.

Fields come in all different dimensions, as I am sure you are aware. The sheer number of fields doesnt matter, its the correct fields that matter. Both Kantor Park and Pingry - Short Hills are no good for MLS Next. They dont meet the requirements. Can you tell me what other fields they have available and I can inform you if they meet the requirements. All of the requirements for the league are also public knowledge on the MLS Next website.

I don’t know the size of the indoor field but it is larger than Kantor Park, so I would imagine that passes dimensions.
when asking about coaches, I think all are a minimum of C license and everyone else is higher than that. I could be wrong, but I was told that from another parent, so take that as you will.
the east coast teams playing in ECNL are not great. I believe the national finals of usys and ecnl boys, there wouldn’t be much between the final 16 teams. I agree some flights are worse than others, but scrimmages and tournaments mean everyone still plays everyone.

My understanding is Kantor is 70x120 which bigger than teams like Evertons field that play in the premier league, so I would imagine that passes. The club has said pingry short hills can be an 11v11 field with the same dimensions as Kantor but they don’t need it as they have enough 11v11 fields. We also have played a lot of our 11v11 home games at Pingry Basking Ridge and a few in Livingston last season when playing mid week.

All the MLS games are required to be at the same location on the same day as to cut down on costs for travel and such with shared coaches between teams. While Kantor fits the u13-u14 requirement of 60 x 105, it does not meet the u15 and up requirement and there is no 2nd larger field at the same complex there for the older ages teams. Pingry does not have any field lights do they? not sure if that is a requirement or not. Kantor park as well might not meet the requirements for parking lot size with the amount of teams and buses and parents in attendance when there are multiple teams there at the same time.
Besides if the 2011 coach were to move back to UK tomorrow the whole club at these successful age groups falls apart. Why should the mlsn take this risk?

nothing to do with their teams very rarely lose to mls next or ecnl teams and almost never lose to these teams before the split…surely has nothing to do with that.
