I think people on here struggle to wrap their head around that if daddy can’t wear the badge, the kid is a failure and not going anywhere. My son plays for an MLSN club (we have been there since u9), it’s not the competition level that most people think it is on here, which shows they don’t understand the game well but feel free to sound like experts. If my sons team didn’t have MLSN I would still stay, the coaching is good, my kid enjoys going every day and he has made good friends. What happens when he becomes a teenager will be a different story. He is good at the game and he wouldn’t get worse with this group of players if he wasn’t playing in MLSN against some below average competition at times. I would take playing against fanj and some other EDP teams against the long drives to play extremely average teams who think their better because of a status.
some one made a good point earlier, so many teams are getting added to MLSN how is it becoming any stronger than your EDP, ACELA or NEAL leagues! In a couple years time we aren’t even in MLSN groupings with RB, NYCFC and PU, it’s just back to our old u9 EDP flight plus some long drives. Try playing in it, it isn’t all what you guys think it is. My sons happiness is the only priority and it’s why I do it, I couldn’t care a less if his team moved to EDP and got good games along the way because he is a child, plus it would save me half his college fund, traveling is expensive.

Nice one FA parent LOL best 2011 team lolol Red Bulls A would destroy them over and over without mercy. RB mixes rosters for the fun of it so it's rare you get a full A team competing at once. If they put their best players they would demolish FA like they did at Tuckahoe. RB doesn't care about results..

This post might be the biggest contradicting post ever. Read your post again and maybe try again without contradicting yourself every sentence.
RB mix squads, don’t care about scores, well other than when they put all the best players to play in a tournament to care about scores…you realize how dumb you sound right?

not the OP, but pretty sure you should re-read. They never said they put all their best players out at Tuckahoe, just that they destroyed them.

Take a deep breath FA is not the best team in the country...

Isn't this a dumb argument. Red Bulls get all the best talent to use as they want. Shouldn't they always pretty much beat everyone? If they are taking the best players and still losing then that tells you something. Any team, and that includes FA, if said team beats red Bulls or even gives them a good game, then the credit goes to that team because in theory they should not be able to compete.

No one can agree with this statement. Red Bulls have good players but take away two of them, maybe even one...and they can be beaten by a lot of teams.

I have seen both teams play. FA plays like a team. I have never seen them fight each other over penalty kicks, free kicks, and I have never seen them berate one another during a game. Not so with Red Bulls. You can see that at almost any age with them. The culture at Red Bulls is toxic. Players have talent but something happens to them when they join Red Bulls. Philly Union and NYCFC not like that. There are better places than Red Bulls for your kids.

RB puts up the best squad against FA, that's a fact. Some of their Redbulls players have never played against FA because they don't belong to the A squad that can "destroy" them. They even pull down the kid that plays up and make sure he is available to play against FA. They clearly care about winning.
Their whole strategy is to put together a team that is competitive against their opponent but still wins by a small margin. If they play a weaker opponent, they will send kids to match that. It doesn't always work out because they sometimes underestimate their opponent but that is exactly what they do.

FA kids cry when they lose a game, they can't handle failure because of the pressure the dads put on them.

We have had a great experience at Red Bull. Love the staff and the way they treat the kids. Knowledgeable and energetic. Training sessions are intense. We came from the south jersey mls next program and everything at RB has been an improvement over the previous club. I wouldn't call it a toxic culture at all.

RB is the best for boys soccer.

RB is good if you fit their profile but now a days more and more clubs are just as good or better. If not just take a look at how many of the RB players have come from outside the academies and not their grassroots programs.

Yes I agree. RB looks for physical athletes, not necessarily skilled ones, but of course skilled ones too. Much like their men's team. It is not always the best place for a skilled players development.

                                Which clubs are better?
