FA's record so far this season in all competitions is: 18 wins, 1 tie, 1 loss (to RB in EDP Cup final). Not bad for a "local team". But forget FA. The main point is there are clubs out there that do a great job developing young players but are not in MLS Next. Kids just want to be happy and enjoy playing this great sport to the best of their abilities.

I think only a few player have been with fa since u8 onwards. But to your point there are clubs that will help develop youth player, however it is very difficult to find. As they vary by location, coach, and player pool. In my experience it has been very difficult of find a good mix, but they do exist so do your research.
