CSA brought in a lot of new players and increased the 1st team roster size and they will be the NEAL 1 and NEAL 2 teams.

why would csa even care about keeping a team together from season to season? I wouldn't if I was in charge.
why not just put the best kids on the A team, the next batch on the B team and so on until you have four rosters and then maybe move kids around after the end of the fall?
if a kid on last year's B team deserves a spot on the A or B team, then good chance he got it - but if a lot of good kids joined I guess a kid on that team can also fall down to the new D team.
I'm sure some kids on the old B team are now on one of the NEAL teams, some are on one of the two EDP teams and some left for better situations for them and their families.
if csa went from 2 teams to 4, I presume their player pool doubled or so, which is great for csa and I think good for the kids since there will be a lot more competition in training.
why does it have to be any more complicated than that?

i think most parents know it’s a long shot to move up unless a kid improves a lot but if a kid improves and doesn’t get a fair shot then he’ll just leave for one of the many other local options. Loyalty does both ways

Apparently you have no clue and your talking out of your ***. The kids that I saw pda pick up over the summer were very good and look like they have a strong team especially with a few kids from RB.
I guess we will see in a few weeks at the big ears tournament if they got better or not.

Also, The MLS next teams are either playing in the Acela league, or the NEAL. Acela has a max roster size of 16, which is the same as EDP. NEAL has a max roster size of 18 which is higher than EDP. NEAL recommends a player plays 15 minutes before being subbed out at u12. That’s it, and it’s only a recommendation. There is nothing else different than EDP rules for either league. No smaller rosters, no 2 team requirement, no playing time amount required. Everything is posted on the league websites. Not sure why you went with the hostile response about having “no clue” when it looks like you are the person with no clue.
