At Red Bull’s respect and sportsmanship is a huge part of their program. They have the parents and the players sigh off on a code of conduct after watching a presentation on the subject. They also follow through on the code of conduct if anyone steps out of place. From what I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot there’s no more or no less taunting, hitting or intimidating from the RB’s then any other team at their level. I would agree the celebrations in the corners can be a lot at times. But these kids are passionate about the sport they play and it comes out after a goal. I can tell you that the actions you described above are not encouraged by the coaches and I think are slightly embellished as well.... The program is extremely professional and of the highest of class. Apologies to you if you’ve scene something different but these kids and coaches for the most part are first class....
Agree 100% ass kissing isn't helping your kid get more playing time.

Nobody said anything about ass kissing. If that is what you like to do, do not project that on others.

Wow. Code of conduct!? Presentation on the subject!? Please do not patronize us. I can see it: welcome to a Powerpoint presentation on Red Bull "sportsmanship". Anything is allowed as long as the ref doesn't see it. Humiliate the opponent every chance you get. And then smile after the game. As to your "these kids are passionate" comment: what an insult to all other kids! No one else has passion I guess, only Red Bulls. Your comments perfectly reflect the RB organization: zero class, 100% arrogance.

each child’s path is different. Assuming he has the talent, If you want your child to pursue playing in a top HS program and maybe college than RB may not be the place as they won’t allow your son to play in HS, and if they choose to go to play in college from their academy program it is a financial loss for them after spend so much money on your son. This is where another program may be a better fit.

Lastly and this is just my own personal experience with older sibling…at this young age the competition between the parents is much more intense than between children. As cuts are made and playing time is measured it gets blood thirsty and God help everyone if a new player comes in for practice. It all trickles down to the kids and you can see kids who were once close friends sadly, turn on each other. That’s where it takes a special kind of child at this age to withstand the pressure put on them not only from the team but from their parents.

Anyway, no one was referring “to all the other kids!” Just referring the the RedBulls kids. You brought up “ all the other kids.”
Continue to interpret as you like. Good luck through your Journey of youth soccer.

Your statement doesn't make sense... why I would project something I am against and find utterly pathetic. I don't need to kiss my son's coach's ass or become buddies with him to get my kid more opportunities. That is why I respect clubs like PDA and Red Bulls where the dads have minimal communication with the coaches. They aren't allowed to coach ther kids from the sideline either which is refreshing.

I remember not too long ago somebody trashing the Red Bulls because they did NOT celebrate goals.

So what placements get relegated for the spring? Top 4 stay ? The bottom 5 of the top flight for 2011s looks weak.

You know what’s funny? The weak bottom 5 actually play Good Soccer. The Top 3 with the exception of CSA play Long Balls!! Kick and Run BP and FA all day!

If they were so good the coach can figure out how to beat kick and run teams....

Ignorance is bliss…if it helps you sleep at night that coaches can’t figure out how to beat kick and run than enjoy.

Your the fool who is over paying for your child to learn a pointless playing style and think that just because they win a few games at U11 that is going to translate to success later on…perhaps you don’t realize how big a soccer field at 11v11 and that you need all the players on the field.

That’s a good point. Also the good teams with time will figure it out. All you really have to do is to leave defenders in the back. You don’t have to press so high. You can also park the bus, like some teams are
already doing. But at this age you really want to encourage attacking football. If they don’t learn it now, when will they ever will? At this age you really shouldn’t be chasing the win only. Teams and players that do, will eventually regret it later and are short lived.

I'm teaching my kid to lose with dignity and not make excuses for why he loses or doesn't perform. It sounds like those bottom ranked teams are full of excuses and the coach and dads are feeding them false expectations about how successful they will be playing 11v11 when they can't hang at 7v7 or 9v9 lol

Find a better coach, get your kid some private training and stop complaining about the teams that win. You are only hurting your son with your whinning mentality.

Do you watch professional Football? Or you are just sucked into American Youth Soccer only. I am assuming that’s the case and unfortunately you don’t know any better. Kick and Run will fade away. 11 V 11 is a different game Parents. You can’t just punt or kick away with 22 players (1 day they will be adults) I hope some of you understand that. If you are just doing it for fun and want to win- that’s a whole different ball game. Then by all means win, win, Punt and Kick Long. Yes, don’t forget to post on Instagram, Facebook how your team is always winning. Enjoy it for now, the Clock is ticking on that and it won’t last long.
