I agree with you. Go back in this thread and see how the FA parents talk. You would think, they are from Mars and all of us (everyone else) is from Planet earth. Today was a wake up call for them to be humble.

Sure, If someone in this thread wants to be ignorant then let them be ignorant. No need to reply to their ignorance. Eventually they’ll grow up.

Not to justify or to make excuses, not sure how they even practice on that field. Field is horrible, not even. 1 random shot, a decent goal from a corner and 1 was just pure luck. They celebrated like they won the World Cup. No more team names.

First time watching both clubs.. both played well neither dominate. To be honest not sure how Union SC gets ripped apart on this thread as dirty/aggressive kids, not the case yesterday.

Went to the game to explore options for my boy for next season.
Both teams are well coached and can play the game.

FA parents are funny!! Take loss learn how to play on grass and stop making excuses for the loss. Learn from the loss and make adjustments.
Some of the most ridiculous parents in the area. Never fun when all they do is yell at Refs for every call that’s goes against them or even better talk **** to parents from the opposing team. You lost the game.. it’s U11 relax.

Coming from the worst team in the bracket..nothing but luck, kick and run. Learn soccer. It won’t happen again. You got 1/1000 and you know it.

Union isn't that dirty or aggressive. Think it's the parents and coaches that give the team a bad rep.

One of their players spit on my son 2 years ago. I don’t think that kid is on the Union team any longer though. A different player punched my son. Not sure if that boy is still on the team or not. Have heard many similar stories from other parents. Have personally heard their players cursing on the field and at the ref. Games I have been at I did not ever hear anything bad from their parents or coach though like I have read about. It is what it is.

RB North 4 - Bloomfield 3. Strange game. Red Bulls dominated possession and play mostly, but got caught out pushing everyone forward and gave up two goals that way. Tack on one more from a free kick for Bloomfield. Red Bulls were able to find room playing through to the middle and then the wing, since Bloomfield's left side was always open and exposed.

Bloomfield, not surprisingly, is another pure kick and run team. They have one quite fast and talented striker, and one boy that can definitely kick the ball very far from the back. Keeping to the theme, Bloomfield is also the type of team that shoots from kickoff, even at 9-a-side (am looking forward to Bloomfield continuing that tactic next year at 11-a-side). Bloomfield kids were nice and tried hard by following the never-ending stream of shouted instructions from their coaches, such as "try play 3" and "never do that again." Bloomfield coaches were loud and disrespectful, though to their credit, instead of putting down their own players, the coaches kept the disrespect aimed at the ref while also finding time to disparage the 9 and 10-year olds on the opposing team. Bloomfield parents must put up with this because they have a very successful town team. Bloomfield itself, is also a very fine town with nice parks and restaurants.

You are justifying and making excuses . I hope this is not what you told your kid after the loss…take the loss and learn from it. Liverpool kids wanted it more than the FA kids yesterday. I respect and admire the kids from FA even though you may not.

Anytime you start with “Not making excuses” you actually are and it’s pathetic….
If you child is hearing this from you and all the other parents what does that teach your kid? Making excuses is the problem and exactly why youth soccer parents ruin the game for kids. They lost a game, who cares? Grow up and stop coming up with excuses. The grass is too high and the goals were lucky blah blah blah

I have to agree on the field conditions. The field is sloped, too small for 9v9 (is it 7v7? Can anyone confirm?) and overall in bad shape. Aside from that, Liverpool seemed to have a great game while FA didn't play their best. Liverpool took and finished the chances they got while FA didn't. It was fun to watch and competitive and several parents from both teams know each other and are friendly with each other, no issues really. Everyone on here tries to make it look so dramatic while it was very unspectacular.
