Another note…. To the person who said :
”True- when you have 18 players on one roster as in FA (just to collect some $$$$)..it won’t matter (they can field 2 FA teams at the same time)”
If you are saying they are just collecting $$$$, and can play at the same time, I have 2 issues with that. 1. How would the coach be at 2 matches at the same time? You are suggesting a team should play without their coach? 2. If they have two squads, both playing in different divisions and tournaments, wouldn’t that require double the money for entry fees. It doesn’t seem from the outside looking in that it’s about collecting money that you seem so focused on making it about.

Silver is a mix of black, gold and sometimes players that are from the younger age group. Its a player pool team that provides more games, minutes and development flexibility. It does not cost more. Sometimes there will be coaching conflicts but then another coach covers.

The wording of 8 players makes sense to me. I understand I may not be in the majority here, though. Also, Not sure any teams in the state are showing up to games with no substitutes, even if every person is healthy and available. The kids are on a larger field and fatigue sets in… some kids need a rest and to be rotated. Injuries also happen, especially with kids playing faster and more aggressively, and sometimes more reckless. Small rosters with very few substitutes is ideal for max playing time, but no substitutes would be a poor decision by a club or coach.

Yes…I hit 8 instead in 9…maybe it was on purpose to see this place blow up or maybe it was just a simple typo, because imagine people on this thread had the ability to think that way! But you will never know.
My understanding from this writing is the fa kids don’t pay any extra and there is an additional team added and they all get to play more games. That was my comment even if there is 2 teams of 9 that is still two lots of registering for leagues, tournaments, fields and refs, so how can 2 teams with 1 roster of 18 be a money grab, it would actually be the complete opposite?
I used to be the parent manager of my kids team before moving to a club so I seen what we paid edp, and no not the fa before everyone loses their mind! All these are costs that this club would have to pay, so I don’t get what is so bad. There kids are essentially getting a run of free games and to be honest I will be asking my club why we aren’t doing this, because I am sure the fa kids are paying the same as us and we seem to be doing a lot less than them! And before the leave your team comments or an fa parents says join the fa, we are happy and our coach is good, so don’t lose your minds!
maybe for once there can be an actual constructive conversation on here and we can actually get a true idea of what the fa is doing, or even one of there parents can let the thread know first hand, without the little trolls bad mouthing everything. Because essentially this thread says all teams and clubs sucks, and youth soccer is crap, it’s hilarious!

Ok what’s your point exactly…you took us North, then changed your mind to the south.

His point is you pay the same at other clubs to get less playing time.

Union is not moving to CSA Monmouth full time. With that said, they were asked to play under the CSA colors in the Northeast Academy League. It’s simple.. it’s a win win
