Good team with good players who play the game the right way. Possession play and build up out of the back. Move the ball around well. Couple of the kids play dirty, not in a good physical way. Once they start losing they complain and yell at the ref, curse on the field and play dirty/frustrated. Then the yellow and red cards come out. Hopefully SuperCopa humbled some of those kids because without the poor attitude they would be much better off. -

Parent Coach- Johnny is a parent coach! By far he is the best, most dedicated and also teaches his players how to play the right way! Parents travel from all over NJ to play for Union. Parents and Coaches from other teams always want to play Union. That has to be for a reason- Good team, passing team. No specific star, the star is the team and the way they play! The Coach had long term vision of creating a well balanced team. You should see how he approaches his players, how he communicates during their training. Johnny saw young players that only rely on their pace, he realized the game will change with 9 v. 9. That’s why he created a passing team for the Long run! Unfortunately for some parents and players, Soccer might not be the ideal sport for you anymore with 9 v. 9.Comment

The balance and vision didn't help them win a single game in TX so the coach needs to take some courses and figure out why his methodology isn't helping his team be competitive against top teams. Facts! Also, Union coach needs to check his emails. I’m sure he is getting emails for scrimmages from competitive teams. At Texas the team played some of the top teams in the country. No blow outs, all close games! Where were all the other top teams at?? It sounds like a parent that might need to look for a new sport. Let the Haters hate! I would practice and play with my team if I was you! It’s going to be a rough season for some of the teams.. Time will tell.. Good Luck everyone!Comment

This list is only teams from the north half of Jersey. Where would a team like CSA Monmouth fit in with these teams? We were looking into them. In their history they have beat Union, Liverpool, STA, NY Red Bulls Grey and Valencia. Also what about some of the other Central NJ teams like Berkeley, Princeton FC or PSA? Or the South Jersey teams like SJEB, Real Jersey, Futboltech or Monroe? Futboltech beat Liverpool and CSA Bergen White recently at a tournament. .Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

CSA Monmouth has lost almost there whole team. Top 6 players have left the team 3 are going the Philly Union, 1 Red Bulls, 1 CSA Bergan, 1 football academy. Also Monroe has lost alot of its team. Berkeley, PSA, Princeton FC, Real are lower down they are not on the level of those other teams. Yes SJEB and Futboltech are good teamsComment

Let’s be serious. No blow outs? Wasn’t the one game 9-2? That is not a close game. Shut out in 2 of the other 3 games? It’s not “Haters” hating on the team at all. Facts are Facts. I’m sure it was a great tournament and something all the kids and families will remember forever, but realistically that team is not up to the high standards of the SuperCopa tournament. They should not have been accepted as shown by the 0-4 record without really being “in” any of the games. They finished ranked 23rd out of 24 teams scoring 4 and giving up 17. Union has a very good keeper and they still gave up 17. Just because you choose to go doesn’t make you a top team. There were several “Other top teams” at their own age that would have beat Union in New Jersey if they wanted good games instead of playing up a year in mid level flights.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

The more I see that… the more I am convinced Union and their Coach is the absolute Truth. Tons of haters, either got smacked by them before or the team cut your kid (the kid was in the wrong sport) or didn’t make it during team try outs. Keep convincing me!! Thank you!Comment
