I recall i read on here that Union goes to games on a bus with leaky exhaust fumes. how are you expecting them to get to the Tournament??

Not everyone can afford Range Rovers like FA parents.

      As for Liverpool

I am a Liverpool parent and as for Liverpool playing in a lower 2010 flight this weekend. Our coach offered us to play a tournament 2010 9v9 to see how the team would do. With their 7v7 career over now and the team never playing 9v9 before. He entered us in a flight that he thought would be a good stepping stone for the team. Everyone knows 9v9 and 7v7 is a big difference. We played in the top flight all season of 2011 so I would not say we are dodging anyone. If anything we went looking to play the best 2011 teams EDP tried to put us in central jersey the past two season, we asked to be moved to North Jersey blue flight that does not sound like a team dodging teams. Yes the tournament that football academy played it was a loaded tournament but what is the point of playing 7v7 anymore?

I don't know if I would say that. I have watched many of the flight one games and it looks to me like Bloomfield could hang with the bottom 4 or 5 in the top flight.

FA parents doing everything they can to uphold there reputation has snobby elitist. damn they are terrible. No wonder their kids cry when they lose any game. having to go home to parents like this.
It's about legit coaches wanting their teams to compete and test themselves against the best of the best. If it was about reputation they would do the same thing that Union does and travel 2 hours to play req teams and post their games on youtube lol notice how they never post the complete name of the team they played ? It's always the club name and 2010 so they can disguise that they are playing the club's C team lol

When they get old enough to play MLS next what will be the excuse of those parents whose kid's do not play at that level ??

Or its about justifying your $3,500 cost. While other teams get the same training for much less. Also as noted by other posts, isn't Union flying to Texas to play in the SuperCopa? you sound like a pyscho stalker, did one of the Union parents steal your wife?

Not sure why Union gets bashed so much for playing up. They will have an advantage next fall playing 9v9 in their age group, same as FA Black, CSA Bergen Green and Matchfit Howard. FA Black is in a fairly high 2010 bracket (Premier II) and Union is just one below that. Meanwhile teams like PSA Monmouth 2010 hide in the lower brackets trying to bring a medal home vs trying to challenge their kids. Union might win the Premier III Red bracket with still one game to play and beating out teams like PDA Mane, PDA Ream, CSA, etc. I'm not a Union parent but I am quite impressed of their accomplishments, including competing in SuperCopa.

Any team can sign up for the super copa please don't be fooled, what qualifications does the team need to be invited??. There is no advantage to playing 9v9 ahead of time if the teams you are competing against aren't quality. Have you seen some of the CSA, STA C teams ? Every time 2011 FA or Union play against an actual top 2010 teams they can't hang. The Premier III bracket is a notch abover championship so yeah time will tell.

We have just about a month left in the 20/21 season. I'm happy that outside of the weather, Spring '21 has gone off without a hitch, from the Jeff Cup through the EDP Summer Classic. There will be an enormous reshuffle of players and teams as the 2011 age groups go to 9v9 play. It will be great to see the age group in EDP League League play.
