Thdt Philly Union team is very good, too bad FA could not get through to them. SNJ/Philly has some strong teams at this age too

Penn Fusion Elite - they are a very competitive team from the highly competetive suburbs of south west Philadelphia (PAE). Penn Fusion offers ECNL at U13. The team's YSR PA rank is #5.

What about Bloomfield? They are a town team and just won EDP flight 2. They went 7-1 and beat Espanyol twice, 7-2 on grass and 6-1 on turf. Is Union better than them?

I would guess Union is a decent amount better than Bloomfield. The 2nd flight in North Jersey is a huge step down from the top flight.

Does anyone know anything about the ODP program in New Jersey? Is this worth going to? Do teams like FA, Red Bulls, or Cedar Stars or any of the other big name teams send their players? Any info would be much appreciated.

Union played in a 2011 tournament this weekend not a 2010. And it did not go well for them.

Union Red is a local township B team. They finished in 3rd place. Wouldn’t say it didn’t go well for them.

No clubs "send" their players. ODP is separate from your club. The Young Olympians is the name of the ODP program for 2011 age players. My son plays on one of those teams listed and the schedule ODP put out had tournament and game conflicts for I think 4 of the 5 dates they had sessions on. Was not worth it to go. I have heard the quality was not great, as anyone can go to it as long as you pay.

I agree not "hiding" but the good 2010 teams were all entered in the EDP Spring Cup this weekend which was at Tuckahoe Turf Farms and canceled. So they were able to get their games in at Pittsgrove, but were playing the against weaker competition. I assume next year they will be back against their own age group teams.

Well i would assume since they are going to Dallas, there parents probablly didn't want to pay for another out of state tournament??

FA parents doing everything they can to uphold there reputation has snobby elitist. damn they are terrible. No wonder their kids cry when they lose any game. having to go home to parents like this.
