I wonder how FA will do against Philadephia Union if they meet up? This year out of 10 matches the U10 Red Bulls Pre-Academy had 7 wins 2 losses 1 draw against the U10 Philadelphia Union Junior Academy

      FA v Phil Union

I agree, that matchup would be great. Are they playing 7v7 or 9v9 this weekend, looking at the brackets I would say it's pretty close to a guarantee they will meet up. But with the rain you never know.

            Memorial Day:

FC Delco, Vorhees, ISE and Montville tournaments are on.
EDP Memorial Day 2011 is now fully cancelled.

Pretty disappointing so many of the EDP tournaments getting shortened or canceled. They should think about moving the venue away from Tuckahoe. Since when does rain alone prevent a soccer game from being played?

Correction: Delco cancelled majority of games today as fields have closed. No update on what is happening tomorrow.

The 7v7 fields have poor drainage and therefore are not playable. They play in the rain with no thunder but the fields have become a real set back.

                    Philly Union

Thdt Philly Union team is very good, too bad FA could not get through to them. SNJ/Philly has some strong teams at this age too

they are probablly the best "town' team at this age, but cant compete with FA, CSA, or RB not bad for a town team.

like other poster mentioned they dont charge 3k a year so prob wont play as many out of state tournaments. But did see they are going to Dallas for the SuperCopa. good luck

FA been getting crushed lately. Ironbound Granted 2010 destroyed them. they arent as good as they were 7v7

They go to plenty of tournaments but they avoid the top competition so you won't see too much action from the team at popular tournaments. They competed at Memorial Day EDP tournament this weekend and it didn't go too well for them. Maybe that was their last 2010 tournament before they go back to competing at their age group since 2011 will now be 9v9.

The fall will be interesting for teams like Union, Liverpool, Ironbound, AS Jr, and STA as some of the top central teams will hopefully play in the North Premier I and we will see what they got.

What about Bloomfield? They are a town team and just won EDP flight 2. They went 7-1 and beat Espanyol twice, 7-2 on grass and 6-1 on turf. Is Union better than them?

Union played in a 2011 tournament this weekend not a 2010. And it did not go well for them.
