Not too much Red Bulls hate. They play the right way and are professional. Maybe people don't like that they take the best kids from other clubs, but if those kids want to be pros and have the best chance to join an MLS academy, why wouldn't they leave? Saw lots of kids from AS Juniors, Cedar Stars, TSF, Ironbound, PDA, STA, etc at various tryouts and RDS clinics.

No reason to hate on any top team. The goal is to train, develop and beat the top teams.
The reason why CSA gets a lot negative comments is because how the club runs there organization. They take anyone and create another team to bring in the cash flow. Can’t hate on them from a business stand point but they don’t develop kids. If anything there coaches suppress talent and mess with their mental state fighting for a position on a weekly basis. At 7, 8, 9 years of age kids shouldn’t be scared to make a mistake in fear of being dropped to a lower team.

Redbulls is on another level in the sense they have a professional team and when you tryout or join you understand it’s on a season by season basis.

If you want your kid to learn to play the right way, improve on all aspects of the game with a chance to play for a A team in MLSnext choose your club wisely for the next 2-3 years for your child. Going to a club like CSA now in hopes to solidify a roster spot for MLSnext in 3 years from now your wasting your time. When someone with more talent walks through those doors they will say adios and show no loyalty.

They haven’t played against the B team (NL EDP). Just look at any of the game history on ysr or gotsoccer. If I am wrong, please let everyone know that actual game you are referencing.
well i think you made his point. union a smaller and younger team can beat bigger 2010 kids due to ball movement. No one is saying union is the greatest like the other poster mentioned, just that Union, ASJR and other smaller teams have to use ball movement and IQ to beat bigger teams.

As of right now, if they start the moving the ball better , they are going to take a huge step forward.

You guys love to hate on FA , CS Bergen , Union , Red Bull’s and Liverpool the most and they happen to be in the top 5 rankings. Hmmmm....
lol of course no one wants to sh*t on the crappy teams.... the teams you mentioned are clearly the top in the state, so they will get the trash talking... as a neutral whos son doens't play on any of these teams no one gets more sh*t then union. but having watched all there games not just the highlights they put out, you can see that team knows how to move the ball, play smart and just out technical there opponents. and clearly they play physically right on the border of aggressive and dirty.

Doesn't make any sense, you act like the kid that makes it to the MLS next team is going to be cushy and comfortable. If your kid can't climb the ranks in the 2-3 years playing for a Pre-Academy like CSA then what makes you think that going to a small club now is going to change that when they are at the age of playing in the MLS mext league?

Sure they will feel safe and loved at a team like FA or AS and kept on the top roster because the smaller clubs need to show loyalty to the players that stick around and give them business. That sheltered all star player will have a reality check when they are no longer the top player and they have to fight to keep their spot in an academy and daddy and mommy can't do anything to keep them there.

I believe the point that was trying to be made was not to fall into the CSA Bergen sales pitch gimmick. All teams including the smaller ones should always reward and promote kids for playing well. Having to keep your level up and maintain your spot is needed on any size team. Getting that 1 on 1 love from a coach at this age level is very important for development. At these larger clubs like CSA they just don’t have the time or enough personnel to devote to individual needs/improvement therefore the good players never become great.

Fighting to keep your spot weekly at CSA has forced parents to request to have their children dropped to the B team to help savior their child’s confidence and mental stability. The reality check is at this age it’s doing more harm than good.

Red Bulls is probably more ruthless since there is no B or C team. I don't see the problem at all, in two years the boys and parents have to face the fact that they will have to face reality.

Bringing up scores doesn’t make the point this year as it would normally. Too many teams go on Covid break for 2 weeks come back and play and get blown out. At the very least these kids are 10 years old and being off for 2 weeks is a killer to any of these teams. You don’t know which of these games are out of context.
