Very good showing by SJEB Red at the EDP Kickoff - the FA Black, Villanova and Union are great results. SJEB Red clealry earned themselves a top 10 spot pushing for top 5. The FA Black played some tough competition to win the top flight. Next week at Lou Ramos, we will see FA battle EDP league flight rivals STA MUSC Pre ECNL in group play. Union Selecao also had very good results considering the top competition. Kudos to Morris Elite Pre USL looking impressive in winning the White (second) flight. Liverpool South shows as the winner of the Crossover flight. However, the word at the tournament is that the Liverpool South team used as many as 5-6 "guest" players from the much higher flighted Liverpool Central team in order to win the tournament bottom flight. STA MUSC USYS and EDP league flight rival also FC Copa Millstone had good results. The flight results had the top 3 teams all play the bottom 3 teams. It looks like the rain out prevented theses teams from squaring off for a chance to win the flight via playoff.

we played central several times last year and we recognized 5-6 boys from that team playing for liverpool south. it adds to the perception that the club is a one trick pony

You weren’t watching then..did you see how FA group was setup? Vs. Lrmas or Union’s group. Not including that Union and Lrmas played each other. To Qualify for the group. That was top quality of soccer at Youth Level. Tons of Earned Respect to SJEB! Made FA sweat and work for a tie.

Why would you want your highly trained child playing at the lowest flight? Plus this is taking playing time away from the starters. Clubs and Parents of certain clubs are ok with that. For a couple of parents to post pictures and for the Club to get the win. I would hate to be one of the starter parents on that team.

Agreed and was noticed by many at the tournament. Those 3 or 4 players shouldn't have played given the flighting and numbers that South had with 6 boys on the bench. Unfortunately Liverpool made the decision to forgo healthy competition for a medal. Club should be ashamed to have allowed it to happen. Parents of the South team should question the reduced game time as a result.

You are right. When someone reaches out for your son to play, just turn the opportunity down… Sounds like a Copa parent isn’t happy cause they didn’t get a medal. You sounds very salty my friend. At least Union beat fútbol tech , real and fell short to lower Merion. What’s your teams resume ?
