    More and more American international’s are going to Europe. Sam Mewes and Rose Lavell just both left the NWSL and went to play for European teams. More will certainly follow. These European clubs will become the league of choice for many American players with the competition catching up to the NWSL.

      Why would any non-WNT player want to stay here? The average salary is low and will continue to be low for years to come while the EU league salaries will continue to grow. Bottom end players can already make as much as double in the same spot. Plus there is more opportunity in the EU leagues as they have far more teams then the NWSL.
