If your willing g to come to Momouth County, RT at MF Shore is probably the best trainer in the state.

Honestly two of the best trainers: MS from PDA and NS from CSA. Great intensity and education for your players whether a solo or group session it is well worth it.

This is a parent who doesn’t have their daughter play for either. Both very successfully on the field for their clubs as well.

Can any of you actually be useful and provide the people's names? I'm interested too, and I don't know what these initials are.

              Those two people are:
              Mick Smith
              Niko Stefanides

You can find their emails on their clubs websites.

If you don’t know who they are your kid probably isn’t at the level to train with them lol.

Not exactly a fair statement. If I’m in North Jersey why do you assume I should know every soccer coach in south jersey? Or whatever locations you want to use as an example. People move from out of state or different locations all the time. If you don’t an actual answer just move on to another thread and leave your sarcasm there. Some people actually come on here to ask a legit question.

A-Game in Fairfield is great too. Primarily focuses on foot skills.

These forums are ripe for this behaviour. All these dipsticks who are so brave hiding behind anonymity are quick to put other’s kids down and they all think their kid is the best and their kid’s team is the best. Unfortunately as you have seen already you have to filter through the garbage to find the few decent post providing any reasonable information.

There are different trainers who are great at different aspects of the game and training different ages. How old is your kid?

What makes a great soccer player or one that stands out goes beyond training with a team 3 days a week. It’s the individual skills that they develop. Playing in pickup games, trying new things and just kicking a ball on their own against a wall and dribbling around cones then kicking into a goal. A trainer can correct mistakes and even show you specific drills tailored for you but the truth is no two players are alike. My point is no trainer Can change a player but rather either the player has it or not. I have seen parents pay a lot of money to trainers to improve their kids but a trainer can only do so much for that player. You cannot teach athleticism, speed, quickness. Either you have it or not. You should pick a trainer who has a good rapport with players and could inspire the player to believe in themselves and give them drills to work on individually. You must pick a trainer who is good at one to one training which is different than with a team. All important attributes to finding the right trainer for a player.

I think you are absolutely right on about the pick up games. Best thing for a player in my opinion. Let them develop their own style and be as creative as they want without worrying about making a mistake. Wish there was more of that going on.

Also futsal is great for them.

All good points and I agree about the pickup games. It's so hard to organize one.
