What happened to the Alliance Soccer League? Is that league dead?

Alliance was a fantasy cooked up by the pooh-bahs at MF and their ECNL co-conspirators, who openly complained to parents about the high fees charged by EDP for clubs that wanted or needed to put teams below the ECNL-R level into some competitive league. When you have super big rosters like MF, you assure parents that there will be additional games somewhere. The Alliance was supposed to be that somewhere--cheaper than EDP. Too bad that the clubs that said they'd go along with this idea didn't actually put many teams into the league. Kids left stranded. Parents charged big bucks for a league that never emerged. Some of this stuff--these promises--were put into writing in emails. Why some parents got refunds when they complained.Comment

Complete sham of a league cooked up by the MF, PDA etc for their own benefit. It was even advertised as on par with ECRL and EDP. At the end of the day kids and families left stranded and a league that went poof just like that.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
