As of today my kids team is scheduled to play their 1st GA game on 8/30. Nothing being told to us if it’ll be canceled.

If GA is playing friendlies then so is everyone else. It is what it is this year. I hope ecnl moves forward and we play but it may get screwed up and friendlies may be all we get. GA would be in the same boat, edp and USYS nl, teams same thing

GA league is going to be all marketing and no bite. Member clubs trying so hard to be relevant via social media. Problem is they just don’t have the coaches and talent outside a couple of clubs that still want in ECNL. Deep down the likes of FCVC, Tophat and Cinn are not happy about playing clubs like STA and are just trying their best to calm the waters.

Christ! What kool aid are you drinking? Watched MF Bucks Delco 06 regularly for two years now. Unimpressive all of them. MF isn’t even coached. All that talent wandering around the field trying to win games with travel team tactics.

So just how well did GA teams do this weekend?

None won the div they were in. SJEB came close but were knocked back by either an ECNL team or twp team. Sporting looks horrendous, while Ukies 07 team played 06 at EDP bottom bracket and lost to twp teams. Baltimore Celtic Union 08 lost to Real FC (who won the 2nd bracket with a GA and ECNL team in division). Overall not a very good showing for those GA teams that played this weekend.

the fact that tournaments put up results online makes it easy to see. GA teams STA, Cedar Stars and Ukrainians all played the EDP Fall Kickoff this weekend and none made it to a final game.
