Edp trapped player rules. Anything?

DM cheated at the Sportika tournament on 2/6. He entered his 2007 team in the 2007/2008 flight. He then loaded his 07 team with a bunch of 06 girls and and a 05 National team player to cheat his way 1st place against 07 and 08 teams in the Sportika tournament on Saturday.

All the 2008 and 2007 girls team coaches that were in that tournament were sent an email with the picture DM posted of all his team with the 2006 players and 2005 National team player posing with the first place medals and trophies. There is no doubt that PSA will be hearing from these coaches wanting answers about DMs cheating and other unsportsmanlike behavior that he exhibited with his 2009 team at the tournament this weekend.

Is this cheating and unsportsmanlike behavior a representation of the values of PSA or is it just the representation of a rogue PSA DOC? Is DM's behavior the message PSA wants to send to the public during the week of their big NJX merger and PSA Monmouth media blitz?

This is absolutely true. He posted the pictures to instagram with the 2006 players and the 2005 National team player posing with their first place medals and trophy. He implicated himself. It has already been reported in another thread that he deleted the picture after he was called out on his cheating in the PSA buys NJX thread.

There is also full videos of every one of that team's games. All the games were streamed live and are available for playback on the website bigpush.org. In those videos you will see the 2006 players on the field and the 2005 National team player on the field. Just go to the website, select Sportika turf, and check out the following games on 2/6: 2pm on Turf Field 4; 2:35 on Turf Field 3; 3:10 on Turf Field 3; 4:20 on Turf Field 3. There is video proof, photo proof. He can't claim fake new this time. He can't say its a lie.

This cheating is not all he did on Saturday. He also also made a scene and was completely out of line and abusive to the Sportika tournament directors and made a disgusting display of unsportsmanlike conduct concerning an issue with his 2009 and walked out the door and refused to play the last game. By doing this, he robbed his team of their fourth game and the opposing team of playing their fourth game.

Has Edp actually considered a solution to the trapped player issue?

Simply put Edp does not care about kids. So tell ur soon to be 8th graded they can’t play in the fall like the rest of their classmates and friends. I thought the goal was to play more and not great kids unfairly. By the crickets that come out of Edp on this issue the reality is they don’t care. Having a simple temporary solution like Ecnl is all it takes.

EDP runs leagues for every age all the way through u18/19 in the fall? It isn't the league but YOUR CLUB that is slacking on teams. You can't blame a league when your club won't put together a team and you won't play for another team.

Bingo. It isn't always easy for them to run teams in certain age groups. The calendar year thing remains as stupid as when it started but people are stuck with it for now.

Ok so I just looked at teams that played u15 and no kidding nothing closer then an hour away. So now my kid for being born the wrong moth has to drive an hour while everyone else goes on with life? Yup makes sense.

Complain to the powers that be. Find other players in the same situation (they're out there) and petition. Talk to all the clubs in your area about forming a program for trapped kids for the fall. Some leagues let trapped players play down an age group in the fall so see if you can find your kid a spot. Get together a group of players and split the cost of private training. Have your kid play a different sport in the fall.

Sounds like whining to me. The other poster is right. There are lots of kids out there that are impacted and there are solutions. Many teams/clubs let older kids play down in the fall. Get on the phone.

2? So if an 07 team has 5 trapped players, they have to rotate playing 08 games or if the club only plays the same 2, then the other 3 just train? Yikes!

4 ECNL teams in NJ and yes, if you have more than two trapped players you need to rotate.

Yes you are. Make some calls to clubs in your area to see if their league allows playing down or if they do anything for trapped players. But if you're otherwise happy with your club now don't move just because of this one issue. It's temporary. Posters have offered up ideas. Many players have to deal with this each fall.
