Parents, whose kids play for the bigger clubs are well aware that they attract/recruit players throughout the year. It's not a secret. Also, they're well aware that if these players are good they'll be offered spots and in turn take playing time away from inferior players. This goes on at ALL of the bigger clubs. The problem is parents aren't being honest with themselves about their kids talent level. If your willing to put your kid on one of these teams because you consider it to be elite and a step or two above a town team, then you better be willing to accept the fact that your child might be replaced by a better player.

So you're saying that CSA Monmouth is failing to develop players so they need to steal them from other clubs.

Did you wake up in delusional world? We know NS and I've never once heard him ever mention RT, have never heard him talk bad about RT, and have never heard him talk about any of RT's teams. I've never heard him brag about being "the best". Not sure what your vendetta is for him, but I'm willing to be your a MF Shore parent led to believe that NS is behind all the RT bashing and this is your way of getting him back. And for the record, RT has been getting bashed on this forum years before NS came to CSA, so maybe it's time to rethink who's bashing him

same, never heard him mention a word, embellishment or comment whether good or bad regarding RT or any other club or coach. I like his training style, commitment to the teams, training days are thought out and methodical and my kid likes him and his motivation, so it's a win win for us. Everyone just wants to bash every other club, team, coaches... and it just proves what a joke soccer has become in New Jersey. Just go out, support your kids teams and live your life. Before you know it the kids will have moved on and you missed it worrying about dumb ****.

Not the person you replied to, but I'll try to address. My kid isn't on one of his teams, but she's trained with him dozens of times (so I've spoken to him off and on) and I know a half dozen parents with kids on his CSA teams. I've never heard him say anything about RT, MF Shore, or this forum. None of the parents have said anything about RT or MF Shore being brought up.

Anything said here or to you directly that NS is coming on here posting is just a delusion/lie until actual evidence is given. Granted, he could be on here furiously posting at 2am, but then again, anyone could be as this is an anonymous forum. To the person's point that you quoted, they aren't wrong. I've been on this forum for years, and the RT posts have been going on that entire time. I didn't even know NS existed until mid 2020. It's easy to point fingers, but the truth is RT has secured his bad rap on all his own.

Not sure how you got to that scenario other than to take a jab at CSA Monmouth. This goes on at every big club who attracts kids....all of them! It has nothing to do with developing players. Kids on town teams or bigger clubs who aren't happy for whatever reason look to move teams and because these bigger clubs fit that mold where they feel they might have a better chance at succeeding or developing they're brought in to train with the existing team. If that player is good or shows promise the coach will try and sign them to the club. Some players accept, some players decline, while other players tell the coach they want to remain loyal to their current club and will finish the year. The coach will most likely ask them to come on as a practice player. Players that choose to sign with the team are now part of the current team and if they're more talented than an existing player they will take their spot. Is this something 9, 10 or even 11 year olds will understand? Probably not, but this is the spot their parents chose to put them in and are the only ones to blame. Parents need to understand how these big clubs work before they sign their kid up. In most cases all they care about when they originally sign is the name status of playing for one of these bigger clubs and don't understand that being on the team doesn't guarantee you playing time.

Definitely agree with this. Especially about how well run his training days are. My daughter appreciates how committed he is to bettering her, because she knows he isn’t doing it just to win, he is doing it to make her a better soccer player. I have had conversations with him and never did he say a disparaging word about other clubs or coaches and I have a lot of respect for that because everyone knows who is attacking him on these boards and he could easily talk trash, but he simply doesn’t.

NS privately trains my son. One of the best around. The girls are lucky to have him. All this other talk is just noise that has been going on for years.
