Yes, EDP is causing major problems for ecnl. It’s only going to get worse for ecnl going forward.

The problem is that all these ECNL teams had second/third teams playing in NYCSL (under US Club Soccer - same as ECNL) and they are now moving to EDP or some other league but under US Youth Soccer, which is a major headache ($ lost) for US Club. Expect some response.

That’s what Alliance League is supposed to be, no?

I think so. I believe they are trying to get this hierarchy:
ECNL
ECRL
Alliance League

They'll have to allow team-only membership to really get going. But, USYS is way ahead of them and it will take a lot of work to make this work.

The Alliance league is done - the Listed NPL teams are folding into the EDP NL - and most were already playing a team there anyway.
