this is why MF does not scrimmage vs any other teams. The parents would have there eyes open and see the talent on all the surrounding teams. They are afraid to lose more importantly lose paying customers
reality is you pay 4000 for a ECNL badge. You can get better development,coaching and level of play with teams like Clarkstown, NJFIRE,STA,NJEB,PSA. few of those teams will beat MF and keep up in a scrimmage. Clarkstown beat PDA and they played a year up

Lost half of it's starters. Backfilling with bench players that stayed and STA USYS players. Two of the kids that stayed will play with 04s more often then not.

Like I said both my kids played/playing in college and I have seen parents like you on the sidelines for years and I feel bad for your kid who have to listen to your life lessons about growing up. Beyond mess, I think we could actually have a competitive game with the likes of CSA and SJEB now which last year we would have beaten 6-0 with our eyes closed.

This seems to be the year that ecnl started to get really watered down. Maybe it’ll change after COVID but you’re right there were no standout teams. GAL is just as good if not better than ecnl at this age.

Ecnl teams at the 06 age group are meh. The national champ lost to an average EDP club.

No way. Most GA teams will be filling out defections by having multiple kids play up. Thts not a sign of a healthy league. Playing up should be because the player isn’t challenged, not because the club can’t field teams.

So says the parent who is an expert on all thing soccer. What coaching licenses do you have? I smile when I hear parents talking about soccer or soccer players as if they know the sport when they have never stepped onto a pitch and played an organized match in their life.
