I've been hearing alot about this MF Shore club. Heard the 09 team is the best in the state, winning all sorts of tournaments, having the best training, and probably the best group of parents. Looking to get my girl a tryout. (I want her to be on the best team in the state) I heard the tryouts are invitation only, as the should be for an established top team. Anyone have any feedback on this great team, and who do I contact for a trtout?

MF Shore is a Good Option
MF Shore will be a good option for parents/kids, family that are looking for team/club to grow with. Will they be ECNL/ECRL, GAL,.......no not a chance but they will offer kids a place to go. For older kids I will say that its a far stretch in believing at that you are going to reach ECNL status for any kid. I say that in the manner that for an older kid who wants to play in the ECNL will just go straight to one of the teams that have it.
MF Shore is not a "PATHWAY" for those kids above the age of U12. Sorry but at those ages parents already know the clubs to take their kids to and at this stage it will be either PDA NORTH/PDA SOUTH or Match Fit ECNL in Morristown. MF Shore is nothing more than an affiliate or "NEW" Branch for Match Fit, which is a good thing if you ask me, but just not what people are talking about.
If anyone is telling you that they are getting ECNL/ECRL, that is a person you need to be concerned about and a person you need to be very careful of. That kinda of person either knows nothing about the landscape of New Jersey soccer. This club will compete with the better town teams in EDP and from what I hear they are or will ride the success of the 09 team which right now at 09 is from what I hear is good/decent bunch of talented little girls. This I do know from a parent of that group is that they are "THERE" now but most of the kids train with a PDA trainer and will leave for PDA in the later years or within the next 2 years. This is I heard from two of the fathers that I was talking to at training before this COVID-19 broke out. I think one works for the FBI or something.
Anyway I think the place is a great option for families looking for a place to call home.

What I think is being told is that its an 'avenue" or stepping stone to get to the ECNL team up north. I think people on this forum is putting a spin on it and claiming that he is doing that. The only recruiting that they can do is say that its a pathway to the ECNL teams up north once kids turn U12/U13. At that point kids will try PDA North first and then if it doesn't work they will go to Match Fit ECNL. Not trying to hate on Match Fit but we all know that's the pecking order and families will try PDA North first then Match Fit ECNL. Mark my words with that 09 team. I was told that by the parents themselves which I just laughed but this was all PRE Match Fit Shore and they were at CSA so who knows.
That's great that they have a plan for the future, which is realistically the same plan for any parent/kid in the state that wants to play ECNL. They plan to try PDA first and MF in north jersey. It's not surprising at all.
