I don’t think so. You would think the release would have more specifically said that there were ECNL teams playing out of there. Instead it’s presented as a pathway to ECNL.

Seems like some folks at PDA and CSA seem very threatened, if you product is so good in the Shore area why get all worked up about MatchFit? Answer: because you know MF will attract a lot of players from your clubs.

I’m an ex Matchfit customer. Not sure about the product of PDA and CSA down the shore but I can tell you if the crew up north has anything to do with it I feel really bad for those kids that sign up. It will be a joke like the last 4 years of Matchfit HQ. Do your homework Shore parents.

Right now its not ECNL so will be like another version of MF Mercer or MF Montclair etc...and then add in the Surf stuff …..

MF in Morris is ECNL/ECRL ….that's it right now...and even there they have only 2 rented fields at Morris Catholic that can't accommodate all the teams hence 2x week practices with ECRL teams getting a 1/4 to 1/8 of a field and no actual office and no administrator. DB & JR do all of that plus work day jobs.....

CSA's best coach? Lol, your ****in kidding me... RT is NOT a coach, hes a recruiter. The 09's success has nothing to do with him, it's the talent of the girls. I feel bad for them in the future because hes not developing them.

Heard the same thing. Big team turnover, no loyalty his players. (This is where a CSA parent will say the reason why people put RT down is because their kid wasn't good enough to make the team...) Same old baby nonsense. You'll never get an honest opinion from current players parents. They have the theory that everyone's kids suck at soccer suck but theirs. No one is putting their kids down on any of these topics. People talk about what the coach does. But, the CSA parents will attack you for saying anything about this guy.

Five years ago Monmouth/Northern Ocean County had Wildcats (girls) as a club team.
There were very good if not dominant town clubs like Middletown SC, Wall SC, Toms River FC, Jackson SC, Marlboro SA, Ocean SC, Freehold SL etc.....
Now there is PSA Wildcats, CSA Monmouth, PDA Shore, FC Copa Millstone and MatchFit Shore.
Where this all shakes out in 2-3 no one knows but my head is spinning.

Replacing the bottom of the roster with several of the most talented kids in the region is the type of turnover every team should hope for. Talent recruits talent. These kids on the top teams know each other well from camps, tournaments, ODP, etc and they want to play together. It's not complicated and happens in every sport at every age. Technical, tactical and physical development best occur when players are surrounded by teammates of equal talent and the coach is not spending half of training trying to get the bottom of the roster to catch up to the best players.

This is THE MOST SPOT ON POST YET and this is exactly why the MFA 09 team will pull away from every other team in the tri-state area. Talent begets talent. The pace and technical skill of these girls will drive a better training environment than anywhere else. For all the people slamming the coach for the supposed lack of coaching skills or his inability to develop...well guess what...he actually just needs to roll the ball out. He doesn't need to develop any of these girls. They will watch and learn from their teammates. Pure osmosis. There is a good reason why this team is not liked and it stems from the talent they have amassed in incredibly short order. Typically that has been PDA's modus operandi but for now the normal order of things has been turned upside down on its head. There is a new sheriff in town....and his name is not Reggie Hammond.
