BS, I dont see enough Amero-asians in our youth soccer teams .... we need to get asians better represented .... in basketball too (definitely not enough asians there .... ask Jeremy Lin)!

Charity is now a way of life for many and continuing to give it out in a way that affords a comfortable way of life simply doesn't work. The system was never designed to give payouts to generation after generation. The same is true in sports .... you cant target the farm belt to produce world class figure skaters just because we lack figure skaters from that area. Top athletes need to pull themselves out and put the work in because they are driven not because we threw money at them ... ask USSF how that worked on the men's side (find a small group of affluent, white families that can afford soccer and try to build a world class team from them)! Stop trying to prop everyone up that doesn't necessarily want it, need it, or care about it!
This is the same man that if you ask him if he would like to be treated like a black man in this country. He would say "of course not".Comparing systemic racism with the people who came over economically poor and are are able to blend in is pure horse ****e. This is what white privilege looks like. You sir have no clue.

My point is it is proven that Africans and Latin/South Americans are some of the best players in the world! So why is that not reflected in our your soccer system???? Pure elitism and exclusion that’s why!

Perhaps, but I’m referring to identifying and supporting high level talent that will have a chance to play in college or pro. And don’t give me the bs that it’s out there...those kids (Though still limited in numbers) are from middle-upper class families that can afford the pay to play model.

Wrong. YOU are the one that thinks every black man is the same. My first response/question would be, WHICH black man?! Despite what you and all of the liberals think, all black people are not the same. Are Clark Kellog, Ben Carson or Lebron the exact same as some punk in a gang in the Bronx, South Central, or Cabrini Green? Sometimes bad stuff happens to people ... of all colors, by people of all colors. Doesn't make it right, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop trying to make everyone equal ... we are not all equal (regardless of skin color).

You know why? They have huge populations and nothing to do but kick a rolled up sock around all day when they are kids .... the love it, they live it. On top of that 99.99999% of them never amount to anything in the soccer world .... they are disposable and it costs nothing for their countries to "develop" them. To suggest that all black people who could care less about soccer are the way for us to fix the issue is stupid! To think that you can take 100 of any type of person and make them all into noble prize winners in different scientific realms is just stupid, idealistic wishful thinking. Do the unicorns fart rainbow-colored cotton candy in your world?

We would support high level talent too if we had it, looked for it, and found it .... the point is, you cant take 100 random anythings and turn them into gold, midas!

Man y’all really don’t get it, all I’m saying is give them a chance to play and reach their potential if the talent is there....todays system do not allow for that.

That's another difference between you and me .... I don't preach anything. Not even to my kids. You want it, figure out how to get it .... I often suggest hard work and thought as good starting points to them though. I never tell them they got hosed by the man and its not their fault. It is their fault when they dont succeed. Right or wrong. Here's the other thing .... I dont care if they fail. It's the best time to learn, make adjustments and try again ... or quit. I think in the long run, they will learn a lot, learn to deal with good and bad, and learn to attack problems from multiple angles until they find resolution. As opposed to you who thinks we should find answers for people not asking questions.

Then start a free soccer program in Camden and see who shows up.

As a black man I can tell you this is what the problem is with my brothers and sisters. This guy and his post.

We have to stop with getting fooled by the liberals pushing white privilege, all cops are bad, everyone is racist. This country has done more to wipe out racism and provide a path of freedom and opportunity then any other in the world. We need to start looking at the real problems and what following democrats for years has done to our communities. More and more of us are seeing the true evil of the left and they are in panic mode not to lose control of us.

Your implication is those that are systemically oppressed do not teach their kids to be self sufficient. Have you ever been stopped multiple times by the police just because you drive a nice car. Or have had trouble getting a taxi in the city just because of the color of your skin.
Your reality is different from there reality, so conflating self sufficiency with systemic racism is ignorant at best.
