It is a shame that clubs don’t provide it for the keepers. The cost of the “elite”clubs should include training for keepers. They already have added expenses of equipment . Now parents need to pay for private training on top of 4K?!Comment

My daughter has been a Keeper since she was 8 years old. All the clubs we've been at offer GK training. However, the common issue with most GK training is the number of kids and how well those kids can serve the ball.
We've recently transitioned to private training sessions because she's in high school and is very serious about playing in college. Having an hour-long one-on-one session with a high-quality coach is far more effective to a large session with kids serving wild shots making the drill not nearly as effective.
As far as recommendations, we've had good experiences with Paul Blodgett and Lubos Ancin from PDA. They do those several times a year. Only draw-back is session sizes can be somewhat large and sometimes the kids don't serve properly. Other than that both Paul and Lubos are terrific.
We're currently training with OneGK because the private sessions are really showing great results. They are more expensive but if your child is serious and you can afford it, this is the best option.
I've heard very good things about Keeper Institute but I have no personal experience with it.Comment

Best goalie trainer is at STA right now. 2 national team camp players.
However stay away if you are a field players. Training not so good. Which is better for the goalies game day.Comment

We have had good experience with the one on one training at the keeper institute. I think the op is looking for the soccer club that places the most emphasis on gk training. So much is technique and decision making. It is frustrating when the coach has zero experience in the position is the one coaching the keeper.Comment

So field players typically don’t get supplemental training but it is the norm for gks? And they pay the same amount?! Such a shame... because often because when games are lost the finger is typically pointed at the player who receives the least support and instruction from the club.Comment
