Add in STA, NEFC, Oakwood and NYSC and do it now before tryouts! We need more localized travel in a post Coivid-19 world.

Do it and do it now!!

That seems very unlikely if you look at their business model. Those clubs wold negatively impact the business of their existing members and they do not seem to do that very often.

Everyone complained how watered down everything was, no elite teams, just buying a badge and on and on. Now that the DA has folded and it’s an opportunity to concentrate the talent and make elite teams, the argument has shifted to ECNL is a monopoly, they should let everyone in and on and on lol.

No one gives a rat's ass if a youth soccer club kicks butt. did they kick butt last year? The year before? No one knows or cares. this is all strictly business.

You guys begging to get into ECNL .. It’s not happening in NY/NJ.. Jump on a club that is in the ECNL or go play in the Garbage League. Stop begging to get in, all the imitators like SJEB, STA, CSA , PSA forget about ECNL.

ECNL is not a monopoly you dumbass. NJ ECNL is a monopoly.
                  - charges more than other ECNL clubs in other states (NY or PA)
                  - offers less training than clubs in the state (2x a week)
                  - charges for extra training sessions
                  - no refunds for current season
                  - replaces players frequently (again, no incentive to provide real training)
                  - one club controls 75% of the ECNL market and blocks others (source: ECNL)
                  - one club sends ~50% - 41/86 players to D1 schools (source: topdrawersoccer)

This is a definition, see if it fits:
The typical political and cultural objection to monopolistic markets is that a monopoly, in the absence of other suppliers of the same product or service, could charge a premium to their customers. Consumers have no substitutes and are forced to pay the price for the goods dictated by the monopolist.

Dude, you have no idea what your talking about. First of all, there are so many soccer teams/leagues available to customers its absurd. Who all supply the same service, teaching kids to play soccer. Just because the other team/leagues aren’t as successful, doesn’t make ECNL a monopoly, just better at what they do. The fact there are 1000 other soccer teams in NJ who are financially viable, have customers and send kids to college, by your numbers 50% proves the point.

Agreed. The only way there could be an issue is if there was some collusion or conflicts of interest and there’s none of that here. Ecnl is completely above board.

Yes business based on a monopoly instead of results and fairness. If that was the case CSA would have been in long time ago.

Results? No one cares about youth soccer results except the families of the kids playing nor should they. Does anyone remember a single result from last year? No! It is not important. We get that the your kid's team's accomplishments are important to you and your player, but that is as far as it goes an rightly so.

If that’s the case then why do academies constantly publicize winning results, tweeting them out non stop like machines? You don’t make any sense, very disconnected from reality.
